Super long overdue!!

It has been freaking ages since I last wrote in my blog. Even if I wanna start on updates, I don't even know where to begin.

Let's start with sub topics first:

WORK-
Work has been great. I started work on Mar 2011. Up till now, it's approaching the 7th month soon. Same thing I said before, environment is fab, wage is great, working hours is awesome, my staff and colleagues are cool... what more can I ask for?! Oh! And Heidi is working at the same company as me, just different departments, which is also splendid... =)

LIFE-
Now comes the tough part. Hahaha.
I'm very happy with my life as of now. Yes of course with the few ups and downs etc, but I'm still taking everything superly well. My family and loved ones are all I require in my life, and, I have them all with me now... Only thing is that I miss my Grandparents in M'cca. (Gotta plan for a trip up there soon!) Other than that, I feel bliss.

SOCIAL-
Hmm... I don't exactly hang out with my friends all that much now cos everyone has their own life, work, relationships etc. Only the few occasional meet ups with my little gang of buddies, all the rest are either married, pregnant, overseas either working or schooling, or just too busy to be able to meet up and all... Nonetheless, thanks to Mr Zuckerburg, we have our dearest Facebook to keep up and catch up with all our friends, from Pri sch, Sec sch, SHATEC, ex colleagues etc. Well, I'm good. If there's ever another meet up, count me in. We can't keep on relying on technology ok people! Let's get a life... Chill out somewhere...

FAMILY-
Everyone's good. Perfect I should say... We spend lots of time together, makan after work, go meetings if there's any together, laze around on weekends etc. =)

I shall feel that this shall be all for now... I shall post more again and this time, I shall try to make it as frequent as possible ok. I have been getting questions as to how come I'm not updating as often as last time! Sorry people. But busy la... hehehe...

Fabulous Monday it was this week!

We had a good family gathering. All 8 of us went in to JB for food and of course SHOPPING!!!
I think the most amount spent on yesterday was the fruit extracts/drinks that the ajummas bought. In total, 12 big bottles. DIE LA! Surely will be forced to drink one of these days… When we saw how many bottles were bought, both Heidi and I stared at each other with blank faces.

Well, anyway, we had a good bonding session with the whole family. Joy managed to join us yesterday. So as usual, it was cam whore all the way!!! We even went to the arcade to play those old skool games that can never be found in Singapore anymore. But like what Mama says, think of it as M’sia is about 10 year behind us. Therefore, all those games that I used to play was when I was still in Sec Sch. It was that bloody long ago ok!

We went to Singgah Selalu again, had Baskin Robbin, bought lotsa tidbits, shopped a bit here and there and then ended the day with fantastic seafood from the usual joint. Everyone enjoyed themselves. When we crossed back to Singapore, we sent both Joy and Mum home, then Daddy dropped us off first before sending Tua Yi and Ah Tior home.

Once Heidi and I reached home, we washed up, changed, and plopped into bed. I think I slept almost immediately. Was damn tired. We must arrange another get-together like that again. It was really fun. Esp the laughter…

It has been a while since I last blogged man!

I have been so busy working; I don’t even have time to surf the web at home when I reach home. For that matter, I hardly turn the laptop on when I reach home. TV is also something that I turn on whenever I’m having my dinner alone at home. Other than that, it’s home, shower, change then sleep.

I start work at 8am every weekday morning. That explains the early nights. And if I have late nights, I’m doomed the next morning. I’ll definitely be stoning like hell at work.=D
What’s been happening?

LOADS!!

But they’re all mostly happy stuff.

Except for one. But up till now, I’m unable to say anything or disclose anything. Not until everything has been finalized/acted upon. Time will tell. So be patient. =)

Other than that, I’m doing pretty well. I like my job, but it’s busy though. Reports after reports. Making sure newspapers are out on time or earlier, despatch must be on time or earlier, deliveries MUST be done on time or earlier. So yeah, pay is good. Am pretty happy about it. (Not complaining…) I have my weekends with my family and loved ones, more time to do the things that I wanna do on weekends. Except when I’m on duty. But even though that, I can be on the move, it’s just that when calls come in, I gotta make sure I attend to it. Other than that, it’s been great.

I will try to update more frequently or whenever I have the time.

CNY 2011

2011's CNY has been great. Just like last year's.

There's another gathering today. This time at Sa Yi's place. We shall take more pictures there. Didn't take much photos the last time. I'm like the official camera lady of the family. I find it so important to capture precious moments and store them on pictures. Whenever you miss anyone, you've got photos to refer to. ♥

On another note, May Jie is leaving today. Her flight is at 3pm and my initial plan was to send her off but then she had to check in and go in earlier, so we've decided to meet up with her the next time she comes back i.e. Oct & Dec.

Chia Liang's visit

Today is Day 3 of his little holiday in SG.

We're going to the Poly Open House which starts today. Meeting Liang's 2 friends later at the Polys.

What did we do for the past 2 days?

Let's see.

Day 1- When he came in to SG on Tue, we had lunch at JP first, then we came back to drop his bag at home, then we bused and trained to Vivo and then Orchard. Spent dinner with Jon and Sue @ Billy Bombers, Cathay. Then met up with Heidi and we went to Ion to collect Jon's Levis' Jeans.

Day 2 - We had to spend some time at home to wait for OpenNet to finish installing the Fibre optic cables. And then we went to Tanjong Pagar to meet Kor Ming for lunch. It was a nice bonding session too. Even if it's for an hour. We then headed to Bugis to walk around and then to Raffles Place to check out the Caesars there. The guy in the shop was kind of an asshole. Didn't have to shout across the shop to ask us not to touch the items. Can just walk over right?! Piece of crap!!! Well, came back home shortly after that and then we spent some time at home before heading out for supper with Jon and Jie Joanna.

And today's Day 3.

Happy New Year in advance

It's been a while since I've last blogged.

Many things have been happening so far. Definitely happy happy moments la!

It's going to be the end of 2010. It has been a very good 2010 for me. Lots of time to rest and do the things that I want to do. Many things that I've wanted to accomplish, have been accomplished.

- Many trips have been made to M'cca this year
- 1 Brisbane trip made this year
- Got to meet up with all the friends I wanted to spend time with
- Manage to spend a lot of time with my relatives and family
- Got to spend time with him♥ too

I'm really really excited about 2011 coming... It's gonna be a year full of lots and lots of challenges. =D

Anyway, may I take this opportunity to wish all a very HAPPY NEW YEAR... A HAPPY UPCOMING 2011 TO ALL...

Appoaching 6th Dec

So........................

What has been happening?

Nothing much really. Had an awesome dinner just now with Mum, Heidi and the 2 boys. Dinner was almost finished but we just couldn't really empty the pot of soup. All the rest of the food were more or less finished.

Mummy cooked Kimchi soup, 2 veg, fried eggs and mid-joint wings. Simple meal.

Was at his♥ place earlier in the afternoon. Had fun watching a korean show while munching on chicken I bought before I headed to his place. After that proceeded to his room for a short KTV session using Youtube (Yes, we were that bored!)

Anyways, heading up to M'cca on Thu afternoon or so. Will be back only on Mon I suppose. It's gonna be awesome. It's been a long time since I last had a major huge family gathering in M'cca. It's my house warming! (Ok, technically the house doesn't belong to me but my grandparents wants us to treat the house like our own.)

House warming on the 11th of Dec. Everyone of our relatives from SG and M'sia are invited. So we should be seeing quite a no. of people I suppose. It's gonna be fun. Will bring my DSLR there.

Time check: 11:56pm. (Getting sleepy)

1. Mon - Got home visit to attend tomorrow
2. Tue - Going in to JB for the whole day I suppose
3. Wed - Rest or arrange another 2 more home visit

Brisbane trip was really fabulous.

I miss the weather. Although SG is not all that bad now because of the rainy weather. I had a great time during that 1 week there. Came back last night slightly past 12am. Both Dad and Mum fetched me at the airport, then we went to pick Heidi up from work, and then we made our way to Ayer Rajah Hawker for some food. I was starving!!!

I didn't have any spicy food in Brisbane cos they didn't have any, so I was kinda deprived of it. Woohoo. The bee hoon goreng was fab! =D

Next upcoming trip away from SG would be to go back to M'cca for the housewarming. Gotta go back a little earlier to clean up the house. But nonetheless, I'm equally excited to go back for this gathering. There's so many people I've not met in a long long time, so it's a good chance to go back and say 'hi'.

Day 5 in Brisbane

Okay...

What did I do yesterday?

Left the hotel in the afternoon to Queen St for shopping. Found what I needed to find. Bought whatever that I needed to buy. Saw whatever I needed to see. Things weren't as cheap as what I expected but nonetheless, still quite affordable. Woohoo!

After shopping, bus-ed back to the hotel and waited for Jie Jo to come back from work. We were supposed to walk around West End area but by the time she came back, it was kinda too late so we went straight to the South Bank Cinema. The place was great. Luckily we went there pretty early enough to catch the 5:35pm show. If we went for the 6pm, it would have been full. And the worst part, it was free seating. First come first serve.

What did we watch?
HARRY POTTER AND THE DEATHLY HALLOWS!!!

I was quite stiff when the show was going on. The show was a little intense. It's like you gotta keep anticipating what's the next move. I'll still give the show 4/5 popcorns. It was pretty good. Can't wait for Part 2.

Immediately after that, we walked back to the hotel to warm up. It was cold outside and we both had to pee badly man! We ordered Room Service for dinner and lazed in bed to watch TV. Managed to catch one of Gordan Ramsay's shows (Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares). It was freaking good man! Funny along the way too. And the best part, it was uncensored! All the fuck words were all over the place!!! Woot woot... ♥ the show & the uncensored-ness...

We hit the sack thereafter cos we had to start the day early the next morning. Sun rises at 4am plus here. Shall pop by West End today to see what the place has. =D

Day 4 in Brisbane

Woohoo...

That's all I can say so far. Really enjoying myself. For the past few days, weather has been very kind to us. Really cooling, kinda chilly sometimes, and really really windy.

Departure + Day 1 (Sat):
Arrived in Brisbane at abt 6 plus in the morning. Checked in to the hotel at 7 plus. We left shortly after our nap to Gold Coast + Surfers Paradise. Awesome place. But we were there on the wrong day. It was the Schoolies Party @ Surfers Paradise. Really packed with people there man! Nevertheless, we had a nice time walking around the area and the shops there were really cool. Things there were quite ex though. We left the place at abt 5 plus in the evening. It was already pretty dark actually.

Day 2 (Sun):
We woke up at about 10 plus in the morning (Aussie time). We headed straight for Little Stanley St market area and had fun along South Bank Parkland. Really nice place to chill and do nothing! Food was great, weather was great, people were great & shopping along the market was fab too! We then walked to the City area. Walked around Queen St Mall. By the time we headed back to the hotel, we knocked out. Legs were tired as hell.

Day 3 (Mon):
Woke up pretty early for Jie Jo had to go to work by about 7 plus in the morning. So I couldn't sleep thereafter. Left hotel @ about 9 plus in the morning and arrived at Annerley Rd/Waldheim St at about 10:40am. Walked down to the Soka Centre and reached there by 10:50am. It was really pretty! Nice place at the corner of Waldheim. 2 Japanese members were taking care of the place. Nice ladies. Had a fab mani and pedi thereafter and then bus-ed back to Cultural Centre stop.
Rest at the hotel for a while.
Then continued to bus down to the City for more shopping. Awesome!!!

Day 4 (Tue):
Hahaha... today is Day 4. Shall update more tomorrow or something. Will be heading down to Queen St again to look for slippers. It's pretty cheap around here. Nice designs too! Can't wait.

Shall nap for a while more so that got more energy to walk around later.

HOLIDAY!!!

Like finally, I can say that I'm going for a holiday.

When I say I'm going for a holiday, people would ask where to, and I would then reply to Malacca la. To visit my grandparents.

BUT NOW, it's different. I'm going to visit kangaroos!!!

Wahahaha... So mad happy!

It was all planned in less than 2 weeks. Itinerary more or less have already been planned too. There's quite a no. of things to do. But first on my list, with a gentle nudgy reminder from Mummy, is to visit the kaikan there. I've got the address already and all I need now is a letter from SSA. Wah!!! So exciting...

Top things to do on my list:
1. Visit Sea World
2. Watch a movie in their cinema
3. Shopping at Surfers Paradise
4. Walk along the beach @ Gold Coast
5. Take super lot of photos!
6. Do a manicure

and there're some things I've not planned yet. Hopefully I got enough $$$. =P

Meanwhile, heading up to Kota Tinggi on the 15th-18th, and then flying off on 19th-26th. And then heading up to M'cca in early Dec.

It's so gonna be fun fun fun... Shall update more soon.

Halloween Horrors 2010

I had the awesomest time last night at Night Safari with my cousins and Andy. Left Woondlands at abt close to 8pm I suppose. It was quite hard to get a cab as the Singapore American School is nearby, and the kids plus their family were having fun celebrating Halloween too!

Thankfully, the same cab that fetched Joy, Pearl and Andy came back to get Kevin, Heidi and Me. Talk about coincidence!

It was really fun! The makeup, costume etc were the best part of all. Seeing each other get into character was really fun cos we were making fun of each other along the way.

Joy did a great job helping out with everyone's makeup and touch ups.

At the Singapore Zoo's 'Gui Mansion'.

There was the Tram ride along the way which focuses on the animals in the Night Safari and also the ghouls you would see along the way who will scare you as your tram passes by. Ghouls along the way that will just come up to you and scare you as you're walking by. The 'Gui Mansion' filled with ghouls of different kinds, popping out from nowhere to scare you out of your wits.

Overall, it was really a fun time with my cousins. It was the first but I don't think it will be the last. We shall aim to do this next year again. Probably as Sesame Street characters. =D

Overdue

It's about time I blogged.

Can't remember when was the last time I blogged though.

How's things? Fine. Totally fine.

I have been fully utilising my Whatsapp application recently though. Come on, it's a 'free' app that allows me to send/receive/text using my data plan, which doesn't exceed my 12GB. Don't even talk about 12GB. I surf so much and it doesn't even exceed 1GB!!

So anyways, can't wait for this coming Sun. It's Halloween!! Like finally after all the talks, persuasion etc. Yes, I'm going for it. So there's Me, Joy, Pearl, Heidi, Kevin and Andy. Don't ask me who's Andy. Those who need to know, will know. Those who don't, don't bother asking.

I'm gonna go with loads of blood all over me. I'm gonna be like the bloodiest girl in Night Safari I suppose. Hahaha. We'll see how that goes. Hopefully I don't overkill myself.

He's♥ not going cos he ain't interested. (In case you're wondering whether Johnsen's gonna be there).

There's loads of things going on this yr. So many I can't think of how to list/rank them. Holidays are coming. Gatherings are around the corner too. Everything's like everywhere. I'll just blog about it as it comes and goes.

One thing's for sure, I miss May Jie very much. We Whatsapp-ed like the whole day today man. From morning till afternoon till night. Can't wait to see her 'soon'. (You and I know).

Ok...

It has been quite some time since the last update.

Any updates so far? I would say no. Cos there isn't anything 'happening' so far.

Hahaha.

Finally met up with the 2 just yesterday (cos now is after 12am). We met at Holland V's 'Everything with Fries'. Food there is quite nice. 3.5 out of 5 chopsticks I would say. We then headed to NYDC for dessert thereafter. Chit chatting was great. Laughed more than we talked actually. Overall? The whole gathering was really good. It has been some time since I last met these 2 girls.

As for me, personally, still at home slacking. Waiting for the right job to come by. For now, I'm really enjoying myself. Really wish that this could be more or less permanent... Hahaha! But my finances doesn't allow me to do so. He♥ says that we both must work, else there wouldn't be enough to support the house and all, which is of course true, no doubt.

So ok, I will work. Just gotta find a good job that enables me to put my commitments ahead.

Gotta wake up quite early later to bring Heidi to Powell, then to SGH to meet Daddy for dinner, then to Orchard to walk around, and then to meet up with the 2 girls again for some shop², and then to head home to rest. By that time, it should have been night time! Gonna turn in now.

Sometimes I really do wish that I have the ability to read people's minds.

Can you imagine sitting in the train, looking as though you're minding your own business, but in actual fact, you're really listening to people's thoughts? Like that lady sitting opposite you.

She's saying that she's had a bad day.

Having 3 children, all in their teens, not attending school frequently.

2 old folks sitting at home nagging all the time.

A husband who's rarely at home cos he's out-stationed.

And you? You owed different banks up to $750k of loans/mortgages.

And then suddenly, when she alights at X MRT station, you see her run to the opp track, and jumps off just when the train arrived!

How about that...

Creepy, I know, but it's something really worth pondering about. You can actually save a person's life just by knowing what they're really thinking about. You'll then know whether they're happy, sad, angry, frustrated, or maybe just plain stupid! But regardless, you might still have a chance of helping another person.

I really do hope that I have that ability. It's gonna be cool. Looking at other people and knowing what kinda person they really are. Pervert. Brilliantly smart. Asshole. Bimbo-tic.

Well, to side track a little, I'm really not in a very good mood right now. Things are not how they're suppose to be on this lovely Thu afternoon. Once again, timecheck: 12:34pm.

Everytime I look at the time in the afternoon, it always shows me 12:34pm. I think I should really go buy 4D or something! I've seen this timing more than 20 times already. =D

Anyway, ain't feeling too good right now. So I shall do lie down and stare at the ceiling and then decide on what I wanna do later! Hahahaha...

Have gone for the interview on Mon.

Hope everything turns out well. They'll get back to me within 2-3 weeks. So in the meantime, I can still rest for a bit.

What's happening?

Nothing much really. Only that my 2 of my uncles are in the hospital. One in a normal ward, another in ICU. Really hope that they get well pretty soon so that they can get back on their feet and be with their families again. (Everyone is looking forward to that day ok?)

To totally sidetrack, my whole family and I were recently at Tanglin Mall, walking around and chilling at the Cafe. While walking around, we came across this shop that sells Cath Kidston stuff. IT'S SO PRETTY!!! I loved it so much the moment I came across it. There're so many products. All so lovely!!!

When I get a chance to travel to UK, I shall go find it.

Am so bored today. Really nothing to do today. Except to go to Vivo later maybe. Wanna look for some Barbie Doll accessories.

What's happening?

Life has been good. Have gone for interviews but haven't really found a good and suitable job. I really wanna work office hrs, but with my experience in the Service line, it's gonna be hard but then again not impossible la!

So just keep searching, just keep searching, just keep searching searching searching~

Have been playing with my new toy for quite some time but have not fully utilised it yet cos I really need to read up on the manual and tips. Overall, am very happy with this new toy.

Come to think of it, I used to wanna buy/play Barbie dolls, Polly pockets, girly games etc. But as you mature, the things that you wanna play with will of course change with time. Now, most of the toys and loveables costs so much more than a mere Barbie doll in the past.

Am seriously enjoying life to the fullest. Will update more soon.

I totally love the new toy! Pics really turn out damn bloody nice!

Well, it's raining right now and I've always wanted to take 'rain shots'. It's when you really test the camera to it's max. Taking pics that defines the raindrops, or when the rain falls like waterfall.

Nice cooling weather...

Manage to utilise the camera yesterday during the Gohonzon Conferral ceremony. Helped to take pics for Mummy's member who was receiving her Gohonzon yesterday. Happy occasion. The pics really turned out nice. But I'm determined to go for a course to learn how to fully utilise this toy.

Since I have the time now, might as well eh... Birthday will be approaching soon in just 3 more days. How time flies!!!

New Toy

It has been a while since I had a new toy.

Heidi has been eye-ing this particular camera ever since I intro-ed to her. Canon Powershot S90. It is really a camera worth buying. No joke. It takes fantastic photos and the picture quality really turns out damn good.

So we headed to this (unnamed) place just to get her the camera cos Daddy said that he wanted to buy it for her... Lucky girl... The price of the camera is much lower as compared to elsewhere. He does his research but so did we! Jie Joanna, Heidi and I went to 'that' place to check it out before.

So upon reaching, we went straight to the section, confirmed the price, and that's it. *poof* She's a new owner of a new camera that was just recently launched. As we were about to finalise and leave the place, Daddy then asked me what I wanted. For a min, I was quite stunned cos we just briefly talked about what sort of cameras were good and so on.

Daddy then asked the guy to bring down a DSLR for us to take a look. If you ask me, of course I love it. But I didn't need it at that moment. Regardless, Daddy still bought it for me. So before you know it, before you can say,"supercalifragilistic", I got a camera I liked too!

It was really unexpected but I'm super happy. Really really happy. ♥

Ever since then, I've been taking loads of pics around the house and even during NDP. Though we weren't there at the Padang, the fly pass could be seen from my place. So both Heidi and I ran to each corner of the house, just to take a nice photo. Heidi has posted her pics on FB. I haven't. Didn't see a need to. I'm just glad that this camera can be used for family gatherings etc.

Well, it's been a long time since I last blogged.

Things are alright. Am still enjoying life. Awaiting the response from NSC. Have been spending loads of quality time with my loved ones really. Miss my cousins though. All in SG, but yet we seldom meet. The one in Aus, if I had the chance to fly there often, I really would though. Miss you Jie!!

Recently over the past month or so, I've been spending lots of time with Jie Joanna. She comes over to stay quite often, and sometimes, we would go out for dinners or shopping or errands. It's really nice to be with her. She has this kind of elder sister kinda figure, just like May Jie. We would talk and crap and bull and spout nonsense every now and then. Being with her reminds me a lot of being with May Jie. Enjoying every moment that I have. It's not often that cousins have a good bond though. Still, I gotta make time to spend with the other 2 who're definitely not forgotten, Joy and Pearl. They've been really packed with things they wanna do with friends and so on. Miss you 2!

Shall arrange dinner with them some time. =D

Anyways, am very happy with what I have now. It's the moving on to the next phase of life that I'm looking at now. Settling down, if that's what you wanna call it. I'm currently taking each step as it comes. Looking at everyday like there's no tomorrow. Hmm, on the hind side, I realise that I've been neglecting my friends though. Shall do something about it.

I remember those times in SDC, where we're quite closely bonded. That was the only time that I felt that my friends were not neglected, cos we're all together! But after leaving that god-foresaken place, am happy and sad at the same time. Miss them! Hmm... Regardless, friends, family and loved ones, relatives, are all that I cannot neglect. At certain points in time, you may need them and vice versa.

Okay................................. I think this has been a rather long post. I shall stop here and enjoy my evening with my family and him♥. It's Daddy's birthday today. We're heading to Carousel for dinner. Woohoo! Haven't been there before... Ya, I know... Mountain tortoise and all... but yes, tonight's gonna be a good night~!

It sucks to be sick.

Am coughing like crap now, having a flu. (+ fever + sore throat).

Just wanna get well by Sat. That's all I'm asking for. Am super careful with the food and drinks I'm consuming now. I can't live without cold drinks, but I've got no choice now.

Anyway, glad that Aizam called this morning. I'm even more glad that I managed to help him. And now, he's got a job!

It's been a long time since I last post.

Updates?

Don't have much really.

Just happy that I'm being able to spend time with my family during this period. We go out, have dinner, go shopping etc. The usual. But it's really great when you ain't gotta work the next day!

As for him♥, we've been spending quite a lot of time whenever we can. However, this month is the Youth Formation Day, so there've been quite a lot of meetings. Other than that, we try to spend time together.

Anyways, I'm a happy girl today. Gonna get what I've alwiz thought about for a long long time. Everytime I see IT, I get pissed cos I missed the opportunity to buy it! So today, the time has come for me to get it out from the shop and put it into my hands!!! Muahaha~!

Regardless what people say, I'm still gonna get it!!!

Screwed Starhub up last night at his♥ place. Spoke to the Manager till she sounded like she was gonna cry. Too bad! You messed with the wrong person. They still owe me a phonecall tomorrow. We shall see how everything turns out.

I dunno why, but I feel like crap.

Was it just after that phone call, or was it just me thinking too much.

I just want things to change for the better, not for the worst. No one wants any part of their life to be prepared for the worst. NO ONE!

It's just so frustrating when things don't go your way. You do something, thought that it would turn out great, but in the end? It backed fired. Sucks right?!

Nvm. I shall just sleep on it, praying hard that things will really turn for the better tomorrow. And so I shall follow my oh-so-accurate gut feel. Don't feel that fantastic about it though. Optimistic is the word that I should use now.

Things have been really good for me lately. I'm able to attend more meetings, go out and spend more time with my family, spend time with him♥, my cousins etc.

I really like this kinda life. No matter what, I still gotta settle certain issues and then head on to look for a better job.

I've been praying for 'ideal' job.

1) 9am - 6pm working hrs
2) 5 days work week
3) Public holidays no need to work
4) Work place somewhere in the West side
5) To be able to spend more time with my loved ones
6) Most importantly, must be able to come out for activities

I always don't see the importance of attending activities, after attending study lectures, IC meetings etc, you will tend to realise the importance of coming out for Gakkai activities which will help to make life changing decisions so much easier... Everything will just fall in place in life. No kidding! I would have been dead by now if not for this religion. Well, it's just a life changing thing for me. Not sure about other people, but you just gotta experience it yourself. Period.

Mummy and I will be heading to Vivo later before going down to TBSC. Shop first, get fortune later. =D

Gotta pass him♥ his things tomorrow. Camembert Cheese Cake and 1 box of 白い恋人. He's super duper excited. Went to the Hokkaido Fair yday. Bought loads of things man!

It's been a while since I last blogged. Have been pretty busy with nothing really. Haha!

Let's start from 17th June shall we?

Went back to M'cca to help out with the shifting of house from the rented place to our own house. Construction and reno has already been complete and thus, Ah Kong feels that we have to shift in by 18th. Low and behold, most of us came back by 17th to help with the shifting.

Mummy and Ji Yi came back first. Mummy drove up somewhere in the afternoon whereas I followed Chek² Heng back. He drives a 2.4 Camry now. So much more comfy than the Corolla. I think he's super pro Toyota or something. Haha. Best part abt his Camry, it has an Auto Cruise function. Super friendly on M'sia roads. You can just adjust the speed of the car to whichever speed you want, and then put it on Auto Cruise and that's it... the car moves on its own without the driver having to step on the accelerator. Easy on the legs. We reached SG checkpoint at about 7 plus. Was caught in a slight jam along the checkpoint area but all was considered good. We hit the M'sian H'way at abt 8:10pm.

Reached M'cca by 10pm.

So you can imagine how fast he went eh...

So anyways, saw Mummy and Ji Yi soon after arriving. Chek² Seng reached at ard 11plus. But by then, we're almost preparing to sleep already cos we had to get up pretty early the next day. And so we did, we turned in for the night, with me on the floor and the 2 aunties on the bed.

Next morning, woke up at ard 8 plus cos we had to help with the shifting. Everyone was awake and over by then... awaiting instructions. Best part was that there was a 'Shi Jie' that came over, and she was suppose to bring the God over to the new house. The whole ceremony was quite funny and to a certain extend, quite creepy too! All she did was to clap clap here, and clap clap there... and she kept making a funny 'swhishing' sound while carrying the incense urn, the picture, candles and what not.

Well, after the whole thing was over. It was makan time and the more intense moving of the larger furnitures...

We had a small feast after the ceremony and then it was hard labour soon after.

This is my humble abode...

We soon moved in and everything was settled by the 20th. It was super tiring though. But we had a lot of fun along the way. Dinner sessions as a whole family in the evenings and so on.

Woohoo!!!

Unemployed again... but not for long la. I have decided to leave F.U.N. Long story though. Most importantly is that I'm going back to M'sia again tomorrow. (As I'm blogging, it's already 16/6/2010, so yeah, it's tomorrow.)

This time, going back to M'cca will mean more work. More things to decide on. More time spent with grandparents. More soul-searching. More time away from technology.

We're moving house!

We gotta be outta the house by 18th June. That's the 'auspicious' day. The 'datok' will be moving in by then, which means that all the rest of the furniture has got to go in and 'beautify' the house. However, big prob. We can only go in from the side doors. NOT the main door. So you can imagine the 'more work' we gotta go through. Well, that's part and parcel of shifting. I thought that after my house reno, I'm never gonna experience it again. But I'm sooooooooooooo wrong.

This time, not only am I gonna experience it again, it's gonna be so many times bigger than the current house I'm living in! It's a 2 storey bungalow can! When I go back this time, I'm gonna be the one to take the pictures. All this while, Heidi is the one who's taking the pics and posting them on FB. It's gonna be me this time cos she won't be coming along with us. Our dear darling is already schooling, thus, she won't be able to go up.

(I'm kinda worried for her. We've never left her in SG alone before. It's always either Mummy or I will be home to take care of her. She's prone to having sore eyes and needs some kinda attention to make sure that everything's alright. So up till now, I'm still thinking whether I should stay in SG to take care of her while Mummy goes? Or I should just let her be here alone to take care of herself?) - BIG QUESTION

Anyways, no matter what, we'll take each step as it comes. There's still a bit more time to decide on that. I'm only going up to M'cca at night with my chek² Heng. (*chek - means uncle) He can't take the whole day off or else he would go up with Mummy. So he can only go in after work, which is about 6plus. So I'll accompany him then. Kinda worried that he might be too sleepy or something. A good time to bond too. It's been a while.

More updates when I return. Hopefully by then, someone in SG would have called me up for an int. If not, it'll be more searching and searching until I get a great job that I can finally be contented with. Woot!

Overdue post

I was suppose to blog a couple of weeks back. But didn't have the time.

Today being a weekday at work, there's not much crowds. Not too bad to use the lappy.

Ate Fried Tang Hoon for lunch today. Was not bad. Now that it's the GSS period in SG, there seems to be more people shopping around Parco, which is a good thing la. Hehe.

Life? Everything has been good so far. Miss spending time with my cousins though. All busy with their own stuffs. I've got a good spread of time with my family, so not too bad. As for him♥, I have been spending more time with him whenever I can. Like after work, on off days for dinner etc. Gotta make more effort.

Now that from this month onwards, I've got shift work which is a good thing.

AM - 10:30am to 6:30pm
PM - 1:30pm to 9:30pm

And sometimes full day is needed. So I think it's a good thing. Happy with this arrangement. Can get to spend more time with him♥ plus my family. Yay!

Have got a few things waiting to be bought on my craving list. Hehe. Exciting.

In a blink of an eye, time seriously flies... and so damn fast somemore!!!

Anyway, came back from work rather early today cos Daddy fetched me. Had a rather good chat in the car. Talked about the investment thingy. But ultimately, after discussing it as a family (incl him♥), I've decided not to. Long story. But yeah, not to proceed with it.

I suppose I can say that I'm pretty happy where I am now, and with what I'm doing. Of course if I've got a chance, I would wanna move on to another page in life. However, I am contented with what I have right now.

A good family.
A loving him♥.
A fun job.
Great colleagues.
Good friends.
Close relatives.

What more can I ask for?!

I've not been blogging for a simple reason.

Work!

Have been quite tired recently cos of the changes here and there, meeting up with certain expectations, thinking ideas on how to beautify the shop + the new outlet (YUP! There's gonna be a new outlet soon), long hrs of work, spending time with the family and him♥, catching up with some of my friends, running errands etc. (The list can be even longer if I were to continue!)

So anyways, I miss blogging (like during my unemployed days). I get to blog about whatever and whenever. Upload pictures. Get inspiration.

I miss my FREE days...

But nevertheless, I'm not saying that I'm not enjoying every moment now. I get to do the things I wanna do too. It's just that sometimes I may be too tired to keep in going, or for that matter start it. I'm trying hard ok. I really am.

Like today, I'm off. But it doesn't feel like an off day cos I've got tons of things to do.
1. Errands: Going to the bank to settle my cheque
2. Chores: Clean Waffles cage
3. Meeting: Going to the Pinnacle tonight for a planning meeting. (One of the leader stays there... 46th storey leh!)
4. Pampering: Need to get my nails done

So it's just like that, after doing all these, the whole day will be gone in just a snap of a finger! I doubt I would have the time to nap in the afternoon or something. I usually don't. But I was thinking of doing it this time round. Need to catch up on my sleep man!

Before I say/complaint anymore, let's talk about the good stuff.

Had an awesome dinner yday @ Nantsuttei. He♥ surprised me with his appearance at ard 5 plus with 2 little plastic cans of Trolli Gummy bears. He said that he wanted to go for dinner and so we did just a little while after. The ramen at Nantsuttei was really nice! 8/10 chopsticks! I actually didn't think it would be so fantastic. But I was wrong. No wonder there're so many people almost everyday! There would be a long queue during lunch/dinner time. *bliss* And then after dinner, he walked around the mall and sat downstairs to wait for me to end work. The reason why he didn't sit at the shop was because 'she' was there. Haha! But after 'she' left, he came up to accompany me all the way till closing. =D

We cabbed back to his place. And there I got another surprise cos his aunt just came back from overseas and she got me something! A Pearl powder sunscreen lotion... Hahaha! Pearl powder leh... I guess it's suppose to make my skin fairer? Hmm... Anyway, she wrote the words 'Chuan's girlfriend' on the outside of the box. Cute right?! *Thanks* + I got 2 packets of gummies from him♥. ^_______^

Well, after this post, am gonna have my morning shower, and then start my list of things to do. Thought of sleeping again though cos it's an off day. Oh well, we'll see how it goes...

Off day

It was supposed to be an eventful off day yesterday. (Time check: 12:45am). So it's yesterday huh...

So as I was saying, my off day was spent with most of the time at home cos dar was working. So I could only meet up with him in the evening for dinner and then head over to his place.

Woke up at 11am. Of course none other than by Mummy. She said that I slept too long already. So must wake up! But how often do I get a chance to sleep for so long?! Hmm... Nvm.

So once I was up, decided to do more self-pampering.
Everything was over in less than 10mins and then I was upstairs already.

Helped Mummy to mop the whole house.

And once done, I went to lie down while talking to dar. We talked on the phone for like a good 2 hrs. It has been a long time since we last talked for so long on the phone. So after putting down, I took 40 winks. And by the time I woke up again, it was already 4:45pm. Darn! Just like that, 1 whole day was gone!

It was raining in the afternoon all the way till evening too~! So the weather made everything oh so perfect... ^__________________^

Met up with dar at around 6:15pm at Taman Jurong Superbowl for dinner. Went to one of the newly opened Japanese restaurant. Food wasn't that fantastic though but for just the 2 of us, we ate $99 worth of food. I tell you, I was so damn bloated and it felt as though I could be rolled on the floor or something! But it was nice. Esp the company! =D

After that we went to Sheng Shiong for some grocery shopping, and soon enough, we headed to his place. Chilled at his place for a while and then came home slightly after 12am. And this is it. 1 whole day. Today is already the next day, Wednesday. DAMN IT!!!

It's already coming towards mid of May. And before you know it, it'll already be Aug... and then I'm gonna be another yr older... And then everyone will still keep on asking,"When you getting married huh? Don't wait too long le."

There's really no one here to entertain me. Kal is off today. And I'm all alone here in the shop. That woman went out to meet another prospective lollipop buyer. Hehehe. That means more $$$.

Just received another call the day before to go for another interview. That's a total of 2 interviews since last month. Quite an expected surprise though. After waiting for so long for ppl to call me for the past few months. And then when I got this job, these 2 calls... Hahaha! I intend to stay put cos this is really the most ideal job.

I am the boss of me! Where else can I get this?! No where else...

Pay's alright too... So yeah~!

What more can I say...

Time really flies. It's already coming to the mid of the year. Really damn fast. The bungalow in M'sia is gonna be ready by July. So exciting! I miss my grandparents too...

Why??

Let me tell you why...

In my shop, there're 3 aircon vents, all blowing like there's no tomorrow! If it's normal cold air, I'm fine. But it's cold wind! No wonder ppl don't wanna come in to the shop.

I have a scarf around my neck everyday! It's the negative ion one. Swear by it man. I can wear anything, thick or thin, but as long as I have this scarf, I won't feel as cold.

Grr...

Anyways, it's Wed today. Haven't seen him for quite a no. of days. But we're meeting on Sat for dinner before heading to Kevin's Bday chalet. I wanna eat Ramen!!! *wails* Missing you loads~

There's not much people in the shopping centre. WHY?!

I don't get it. The mgmt told us to wait for the MRT. We did! But there wasn't a slightest difference. Then they told us that IR was opening soon. We waited. But still there wasn't any difference. Gosh, sometimes I really don't understand why don't they just do more adverts. That would solve the problem more or less.

I know of shops downstairs that have no sales for 3 days straight already. Thank goodness we have sales everyday but it's just not enough.

All these items are specially designed by a Japanese, and he has added a local twist to all the items. If you take a good look at the Merlion, it's really really cute. The whole process took around 1 yr to get approved and processed cos of the copyright issues and the approvals from various government/tourists industries and also, all the pictures on the card are hand-drawn and are different.

Work so far has been quite fun! Taking a train from here is quite inconvenient if you're wondering why don't I take a train home. Gotta change train and then must take bus again. 'Leh cheh' ah...

He was just a Bull statue collector! Hmm...

Well, to date, we've sold like around 5? There're some reservations already too. The most expensive is the one that you've seen in the pic. Looks small but it's a whopping 30kg!!!

These are not Novelty ya. They're cards and as you can see, and from Hallmark. Good cards can never be found elsewhere except from Hallmark. Prices are quite steep, but there're people who'll still pay loads for good cards.

We had this lady who bought $30.00 worth of cards yesterday, and then misplaced it somewhere in the shopping centre! Wahaha.

Well, there're still quite a no. of things which I didn't take a pic of cos I was busy talking to my staff and laughing like hell cos there was really nothing for us to do on weekdays. Haha. After the lunch crowd, *poof* the whole place turns into another ghost town! Haha.

Good news is that we're opening another outlet soon! Hopefully in July 2010. Stay tuned for more info on that ya!

That's all for now. I'm really sleepy now. (I actually have another int tomorrow to go for. They called me up twice just to schedule an int with me. I rejected them once, but they find me again. Is that a sign? Hehe... I don't know. No harm trying though)

Work updates

So...

It has been a while since I've last updated.

I'll try to do so on my off days la. Since today is my first off day, I shall do so right now. (Though the day is ending pretty soon!)

I've been working ever since 31st Mar 2010. Actually started way before that, was attending the POS training, some supplier issues etc. So as of now, we've officially been in business for 5 days. How was it? Well, all I can say is that it's still too early to tell. But everything has been great so far. Sales are good. People are alright (Definitely can't compare to 'that' place, no doubt). It gives you the sense of satisfaction when sales are being hit, people leave the place feeling happy, kids are laughing when they come to your place etc.

I've not met with any nasty customers though (touchwood!) and I certainly won't want to. Even if I do meet them, I'm sure I'd be able to 'settle' them. Suppliers are alright, except some of them. Overall: Good.

Somehow or rather, I do kinda drag myself to work though. Maybe in this initial period. I've been resting for quite some time already, so it's all about getting used to it (i.e. environment). Travelling is hell. It's in the city. So it's either a bus or cab. I'm not really a train person cos the thought of squeezing in there with 'em is horrid. So it's a definite NO NO for me to take an MRT to or from work.

As of now, I've been taking a bus to work, and a cab back. If you wanna weigh, I would say it's more worth it taking a cab back from work cos you'll be dead tired by the time you get back. If I leave work at 9:45pm, and take 502 direct home, I'd reach home by about 11pm? Nah... It's too late. Though it's not much of a diff if I take a cab though cos if I did, I'd reach home by 10:30pm. 30mins comparing to the money spent...? Hmm... Well, let's see how it goes.

Go catch the Pixar Exhibition. It's a new exhibition with loads of cool things about Pixar and all their cartoons/short films/how-they-do-it...

'Work' has started.

But not officially though. Officially would be tomorrow, 31st Mar 2010.

Yesterday was all cleaning and arranging of stuffs. Everything seriously looks damn fun man! Was really amazed at how all the things looked. They're so colourful and bubbly. Loads of cute stuff. But many SKUs. Damn!

No matter how, gotta settle all these things before the shop officially opens (which is tomorrow, I gotta stress that!).

Once everything is done, will take loads of pics to upload it here so that you guys can see.

In the month of Apr, once everything is more or less firmed up, please do drop by Parco@Marina Bay and catch me on the 3rd floor. The shop has no walls. It's open concept. Damn cool. (But I'm also afraid of stealing though...)

Yes Ah Seah~! I was reading it...

It was indeed a great time meeting my ex colleagues at Henry's Mum's wake.

She was 81. And if she had a chance to write a book, I'm definitely sure that it'll be filled with loads of history, pictures, photographs and loads of fantastic moments in life.

Cheryl S, Enna and Uncle Martin were there when I popped by. I met up with Dave at the entrance before going up. There were loads of laughter when we were there cos we really missed each other. Esp both Cheryl S and I. We had loads of time spent together in SDC. Doing centre tours, bus tours, birthday parties, some events etc. The one that I had the fondest memory of was when she came back for PT, and we were doing a half day tour for Grace Orchard School (Ah Seah, dunno whether you can remember anot).

The school has mentally challenged students but I'm telling you, they're really gifted in their own ways! Some of the kids whom I did the tours for are really so beautifully sweet... they would even remember your name when you bid them goodbye, they'd offer to help you carry your Micpro, and best of all, answer all your questions to the best of their abilities. It was really my pleasure doing the tour for them. Both of us Cheryls were together with them throughout the whole time. From their arrival, till their departure. I almost teared when saying "Bye!" to them.

*Sigh*

Anyway, we must meet up again soon. Yesterday we were briefly discussing a meet up btwn some of us ex colleagues and maybe organising a BBQ or something. I think it's a good idea to bond. You never know when you might meet them along somewhere, and when you might need their help for something.

So far, the only 2 person I'm much closer with at SDC, are Dave and Shaiful. Don't ask me why. We're just close. Hmm... come to think of it, I think it's just the friendship chemistry that we have amongst each other I suppose. =D

Work related: I might have to go back tomorrow to help out with the arrangements of the shop. Kinda excited though. Everything's more or less done up. All except the shelves and the counter top area. Stocks are prepared. Items have been ordered. What I can say for now is that being a manager is not easy. There's loads of things to do but you must be ever ready as most of the things are subjected to shit loads of changes.

I'm like so especially happy cos I've made a break through in contacting my students. *Gosh* It was so difficult. Either to call them or to see them is like totally impossible.

Anyway, these past few days have been really tiring for me. Sending out resumes (Like finally right?!), meeting up with some students, going out for random outtings with my family & friends, settling ad-hoc stuff...

Next week is another packed week man! Appointments after appointments. But at least not one day is wasted.

Went to the zoo yet again as an Annual Family trip. Manage to catch some of the animal shows that we've missed before. Woohoo~! Mummy always brings up what Papa does last time, going to the zoo like every yr, spending almost the whole day there, walking on foot throughout the whole time (seriously, cannot take tram, WALK!), perspiring under the hot sun... and the best part, it was because of trips like these that makes us appreciate and like animals. We're like super enthusiastic when we go to such places. It's like we have split personality when it comes to outtings like these. Hehehe~

Well, going to Dar's Grandma's place soon. Another round of nomnoms + Blackjack. Hahaha! It just never ends with his family... They're really a very fun bunch of people. "Super outgoing-not paiseh" kinda family. ^_____^

After hearing so much from my friends, I'm starting to hate that place even much more!

It's so sucky to know that people are yet again, wasting their tears on such a place. If the people there are such assholes, I wonder why no one sees it! If their management skills are so lousy, then again, WHY NO ONE SEES IT?!

Or I think the top management could have been blinded by these assholes...

I'm really starting to think that it's high time someone do something about it. I really hate to see blur people, walking in, thinking that this place is such a heaven, with wonderful people, nothing much to do, and in the end, kena bitch slapped by assholes who make them do things which are not even in their jobscopes!

For goodness sake, someone in there, STAND UP TO THESE ASSHOLES AND MAKE THEM SORRY FOR WHAT THEY'VE DONE TO OTHERS!

Fuck la... What nonsense is all this?! Then people take us for a fool, constantly making us do and do and do, and if we feel appreciated, never mind. BUT WE DON'T... and we still kena criticize for not putting in effort, or making the slightest mistake.

There're so many places with double standards and the last place I want to think of is THAT place! I've got people in there whom I care a lot about. I think of them everyday! And it hurts me so much to have to know that they're still THERE, and that they're suffering day by day with all those sickening assholes, good for nothing, don't-know-why-you're-born-in-this-era people... *sigh*

During this period, moving or not moving, I'm gonna be right here with you guys. So we're gonna have a 'Vent Frustrations Dinner' every once in a while and it's by INVITATIONS ONLY!

Good day today!

Was up at abt 11 plus. Had a quick lunch with the family, and then went to bathe.

Met up with Dave @ PS for lunch today. It was great. Had Carl's Jr. Serving was freaking huge! Luckily I only snacked on his fries and I bought something like chicken tenders. I really wonder how he ate the burger without pausing much really. It was like he was damn hungry or something. I was sharing with him about the burger at NewYork². If anyone could finish the Yankee Burger at NewYork², that burger would be free. The Yankee burger feeds 4 person, so what do you think?!

He calmly said that he could finish it... so we'll find one fine day, we'll have him go for that Double Dare!

Haha... after makan, we walked around town quite a bit. Went to Starhub to check out the phone prices. This gong² cannot wait for me to get a iPhone. Weird~

So from PS, we went to Orchard Central (there's nothing much there), then on to Somerset 313... and we spend quite a bit of time there (there's more shops there.. ♥ Marvellous Cream!!!), and lastly, we headed back to PS cos he was meeting his friend there cos he got lessons after that. At least I got 502 to bring me back home too... if not you think I so good accompany him back there meh?! HAHAHA...

Upon arriving at Jurong West (it was already 7.50pm), I went for a haircut @ Ben & Kat's. Another 10 bucks well worth it...!!! And then I received another good news from Dar!!! How many happy moments can 1 person get in a day?

Today is another good day for rest and relaxation.

I think I'm going for a haircut. Contemplating on going to Angeline's place for my haircut. The haircut is so special cos it allows us to have our hairstyle for a longer period than normal haircuts. Of course with that, it costs more la!

I just sent out my first resume too! Dunno why but I feel very excited... prolly cos I've rest too much! So now it's time to work work work... I want $$$$$...

This was late.

But there's a reason. Haha! Sunday was a packed day for me. So I can only blog abt it today.

Dar just decided to bring me for makan one day, and he chose Sat morning. Since I was ok with that arrangement, we met at Lakeside MRT to train down to Raffles Place. I know we were going to Fullerton for Dim Sum.

Super highly recommended if you wanna spend quality time makan-ing with your loved ones.

I'm currently at His place slacking. His mama is preparing the ingredients for steamboat later. Majority of his relatives are coming. Well, it's the last day of CNY.

Just saw a pair of my favourite lions during a lion dance performance at lvl 17 of his block. Seems that that house is a gang leader's place or some sort. The lions were black and yellow. Nice~! I likey...

Well, after this, heading on home for a 2nd round of dinner. Mummy's cooking steamboat too! Hahaha. Cool eh... what are the odds of Mummy wanting to have steamboat again today. So I'm definitely going home for dinner. Dar's coming along too! This yr has been a great yr for me so far. After today, it's on to job interviews already. Am totally not afraid of not being able to find a job. Seriously. Not boasting or anything. But I've never ever had rejections before, neither have I not been accepted in any company after going for their interview. I think it's the 'good fortune' kicking in. Really fantastic feeling.

Am not in a rush to find a job either. But I think I have spent quite a lot of time at home, with the renovations, spending time with Mummy and family, spending quality time outside without a care in the world, going for brunch sessions, shopping, visiting... and the list goes on and on.

Woooo... Love this period! It's more of getting a job to past time. If not my brains would go dead. Haha! Dar's working is butt off and I think it's high time to help him too. Need to save up. Now's a perfect time to do it, at least before getting the new house.

My family has been very supportive of me during this period. LOVE EM' LOADS...

I have spent a fruitful time during this 'long break'. Most of my time during this period was spent with my family during the 3 renovation periods. From Dec to now, we have done 3 different renovations. It's too many renovations. It's enough to last for the next 20 yrs? Haha.

It was damn fun hanging out with Joy, Weijie and Heidi.

We were at HV from 2pm all the way till around 7 plus. Why?

In total, there were 8 pieces bought... And all 8 pieces were fabulous. Really damn nice. Worth the price, the patience, the anxiety and everything that goes with it.

I have my eye on another one. Just hinted Mummy this morning! Gorgeous looking man! Love at first sight.

So after HV, we hung out at Uncle Liang's place, before he goes back to China.

I totally enjoyed the gathering we had just yesterday (16/2/10).

It went very well. All the comments abt the house was uber positive. Whee~!

We went around to quite a few places for visiting... and the best is of course the RED PACKETS!!!

Before you know it, time flies and it's already the 3rd day of CNY.

So relatives start coming in around 3 plus. Food arrived around 4pm or so. Food was great. The company was better!

Everyone had fun while they're here. Ate, talked, joked, laughed... Best of all...? GAMBLED... But sadly we didn't play for long cos of 'someone' (Need not mention anything). So we cut the game short and headed for dinner instead. Haiz. I was really on a roll man~! Won quite a bit (Once again, no need to say how much la hor!)

After some time, it was cam whoring time! But the guru of cam whoring wasn't around. But no matter what, we'll include her once she's back!

I've finally moved back to the house.

Last night was the 'big' move back home. The house looks kinda awesome from the outside. The rooms are nice. Balcony looks cosy. Living room looks grand. Dining area looks rather exquisite.

Overall: 8/10

There's a lot of areas of improvement though. But nonetheless, they rushed everything for us before CNY. Which is really thankful. Cleaning is hell though. But well worth it! Feels like I got a brand new house!

Yay!!!

Long awaited day is finally arriving.

My 'new' house is ready!!!

Today is Tuesday, we should be moving back in on Wednesday... and May Jie's coming on Thu... and the best part is that CNY is on SUNDAY!!!

Kaoz... come to think of it, we've only got a few more days to clean up! Damn it.

Well, it should be enough time though. We're only gonna do general cleaning, all the boxes need not be unpacked yet. Mum says that we should wait till after CNY then we'll unpack.

Furthermore, my unemployed days are gonna be over soon! Have been 'lazing' around at home for too long. I WANT MONEY! Hahaha. Not that i'm seriously in need of it or anything, but then I wanna be able to spend and spend till the river runs dry... I wanna buy things... splurge... spend on things I likey...

Anyway, things are going good. Maybel's back. Miss her so much. Cried when I saw her. We hugged and cried together! It was like so emotional. Haha! She'll be here till 20th Feb. After that flying back again.

Best part was that my study table, my beloved white coloured IKEA table, is in Mummy's room, and on top of it, lies Mummy's QUEEN SIZE BED!!!

On a lighter note, recently when we were cleaning the house, I went down to throw away quite a no. of stuff. Mummy did too. She brought down our old lamp shade that we had in the living room. After that, we went out. But when we came back, this was what we saw:

Day 3 of renovations

Mummy went back home herself just now to open the door and to bring some things over to our 2nd home. Haha! This place now has been my 2nd house since.. like forever..

Papa alwiz asks me to come over often.

So here I am! Staying here for 2 weeks.

Mummy brought over her enzymes, fishball, tofu and her kimchi. These items will be left in the fridge during these 2 weeks. So what for right? Might as well bring it over here. So she did.

Anyway, today is like the 3rd day only... we've still got like the week after next till they finish the reno. Can't wait to see the new house! Really~ It's so convenient to go home from here cos just across here, there's a temp bus stop that has 187. So we need not walk all the way till the inside of JP to board the bus from the interchange. So convenient...

And the best part is that it's only 15 mins home to and fro. ♥

There's so much cleaning to do when we're back. One major cleaning spree man!

Well, on the other hand, met up with the designer just now to choose some of the colours and layouts of the house. It's gonna look smashing~! *Cross fingers*

Currently, 2 workers are cleaning up the broken floor tiles and laying cement today. The homogeneous tiles are in, and the vinyl ones will be, tomorrow.

So far everything is going according to the work schedule. Good good...

One more day

One more day to THE day...

It's Sat today and I'm getting ready to move some of the things to Jie Jo's place. I'm gonna leave this house with a fucking heavy heart but I've got no choice.

Was thinking of prolly keeping one med size 'old' tile for keepsake. This house has a lot of memories, sentimental value, and definitely lots of sad moments too. Both my parents 'build' this house since marriage... brought me into this world, and then later Heidi. The tiles bear my Papa's footprints. And now we're gonna hack it up.

Well, enough sob sob... MOVE ON GAL...

2 weeks, of coming home everyday to monitor the workers, making sure they stick to their timeline. So exciting~! If they do well, I'll prolly get them to beautify my own house too!

Oh ya, speaking of which, yes yes, we've received the HDB letter (like finally~!). Appt is on the 26th Feb. Hopefully all goes well...

Renovation 2010

The last time we did a large scale renovation was when Heidi was about 1 yr old, which was about 17 yrs ago! And at that time, we did the kitchen walls cos it was falling. That little baby was still in a walker and with her banging around together with the walker, it wasn't safe for her to be around the kitchen. So Mummy did the renovation.

Now, it's high time we did the whole house because the floors are giving way! We all thought that the floor could wait till after CNY. But apparently after having 3 contractors opinions, all said that the crack on the floor wouldn't last till CNY, more so, it would just pop any time!

The condition of the floor is exactly like a woman who's 9 months preg, she could just give birth any time!

So upon hearing that, Mummy decided, what the heck, might as well get it over and done with.

We're getting people from 'Designate' to do the work. Choosing of tiles, floorings for our bedroom, flooring of our Foyer, carpentry of the Living room, colours of the Dining + Living room area etc.

Well, we gotta move out of the house and stay somewhere for about 2 weeks. So from the 25th of Jan to 8th of Feb, I'll be outta the house. I would most probably be staying with Jie Joanna, Jon and Mummy. They've got a spare room (Entertainment room) and my whole family can move in there with them. Come to think of it. It's gonna be so cool. ♥

Wii Fit, playing Rayman, and all the other Wii games. And this is only gonna be for about 2 weeks.

Thinking of the whole renovation process, it's really damn tiring, dirty, dusty and most of all, so full of boxes to unpack thereafter... ARGH!!!

Today's already 19th Jan.

This time it's confirmed. We're moving out by 24th Jan. 25th Jan they're gonna start the works. My house is in a mess now. But no choice.

Can't wait to see how the new house will look like. Exciting!

Will take a before and after look of how the house looks.

But for now, *sigh* it's gonna be tiring cos we've gotta pack and pack and pack. Almost everything are in boxes now. Clothes will be in luggages soon. We're staying out for about 2 weeks. We've shortlisted a few places. Jie Joanna and Mummy are so nice to want to accommodate us! Muacks! (Just afraid that we might inconvenience you).

I'm listening to the contractor, who's talking to my parents, and by the way he's describing, I'm gonna have to stay somewhere for 1 whole week while they do up my house in time for CNY.

I really wanna invite people to my place during CNY, but with the floor right now, if we don't do something about it, I'll definitely not be able to have ANYONE over at my place next month. *sobs*

So right now, we gotta consult contractors to see what they can do with my house. Mummy has already forked out quite a lot for the kitchen, toilets, and her own bedroom wardrobe. Let's see how much the living room, dining area, and the balcony will cost this time!

*Sigh*

Hearing what we've gotta decide on makes me feel so tired already. I've been doing nothing but cleaning and cleaning for the past weeks to almost 1 month or so. And now, there's gonna be another round of HEAVY cleaning! Damn!

Today's already 9th Jan, a Saturday.

Dar was very nice to decide to come over to help clean up the kitchen, upon my request. Without hesitation. Thanks dearie!

We went to buy brunch at the market today. Fish soup for me, and chwee kueh for him.

After lunch, helped to cut his nails before proceeding to clean up the kitchen stuff. There weren't much stuff to clean up but abt 3 boxes to unpack. I would love to throw away the stuff though, but mummy wouldn't let me. Darn!

Mummy came home around 4pm. Daddy around 5 plus.

After everything was done, we sat and watched Jackie Chan on TV. Soon, everyone was hungry. So I ordered Mac for dinner for the whole family. Dinner was wonderful. We all sat at the kitchen, laughed like hell cos Daddy was so funny, he kept making fun of Mummy when they were both working at the old Police Academy. Simply hilarious!

Just another update: I GOT IT!!!

Those who know what I'm talking abt, YES, I got it already... Woohoo!!! Happy happy happy.

A well spent 01-01-10

Today was really one of those well-spent days...

Woke up this morning feeling like a million dollars, had a nice brunch with family, 1:15pm left for prayers (dar went too!), then after prayers spent time with him at LOT1, went to watch 'Alvin and the Chipmunks 2' (thumbs up!), and here comes the best part, he actually asked me where Mummy was, and that let's go find her... It's quite seldom that this boy of mine actually does that cos most of the time he wants to have quality time with just ME.

Oh well, after 'that', things gotta be a little different. At least I'm happy that he makes an effort to spend time with my family, be it with my immediate or relatives. *Muacks*

So anyway, as mentioned above, a day well spent... Saw Steven at LOT1 dancing DDR, didn't wanna disturb him cos he looked as though he was super concentrating. But I think he lost quite a lot of weight. (Eat more ok!)

Tomorrow's another day. Mummy wanna work out in the morning. Bought 2 new sports bra! All ready for the brand new year! It's gonna be a different me soon!

M'cca Trip

I had like the most wonderful trip back to M'cca this yr.

Got a chance to see 'new' things...

1. The new house
2. My new family room

But another 'new' thing I saw, was something that wasn't good at all... And that was my grand uncle's funeral. I got to see how a funeral in M'cca was being done, and furthermore, how a hainanese? funeral was being done. (I have no idea whether it was a hainanese one la, or is it hokkien??)

So yeah... when we arrived on Mon afternoon, I was greeted by Ah Kong only. Popo wasn't around. So I asked where she was and Ah Kong then asked us to come in then talk. Hmm... at that point of time I felt weird. First thing that came to my mind was whether something happened to Popo. Thankfully NO!

I was then told that my 'Pek Gong' passed away. I tell u... I have so many... or should I say so MUCH relatives in Malaysia, I don't know who's who. What I know is that these people know me, but I don't know them. Some don't even know the existence of Heidi! This all happened because of Papa. (It's history, and some people know what I'm talking abt la!).

So when I was at the funeral, all I had to do was to smile at all my relatives, and everyone knows me as 'Ah Hwa's daughter' and that I'm the one from Singapore. That's it! Everyone will just know. No boasting or anything. Nothing to be proud of. It's a passing of someone that I gained 'recognition'. Nothing great. Being at the funeral really made me see the different kinds of family members I have. Seeing what kind of condition they live in, their lives, their family members, to know their occupation and the list goes on and on... some are boastful people, some are not... *sigh* so many... all with different salutations some more! That was the worst part... I always had to ask Popo what to call them... and Heidi will just follow suit. Or if not, like what Mummy said,"Just say hi lo!"

Well, my family tree in Malaysia is so huge. Seriously! I don't even think an Angsana Tree is big enough to even finish drawing. I think I need more than 5 Angsana Trees?? Who knows...

Anyway, I went through the whole funeral. It was really an eye opener. Haven't seen such funerals before.

Other than this, we did a little shopping, got to know more relatives, see the new house, got to know even more relatives, looked at new furniture for our new room... it was really cool. I ♥ this trip!

Enough about M'cca.

2009 has been a great year for me! Allowed me to see things through different perspectives, allowed me to see LIFE from a different perspective too. I've learned a lot.

Made a lot of new friends.
Widen my social circle a hell lot.
See Heidi collect another award.
See Mummy retire from work.
Changed a new internet modem.
Got a new bathroom layout.
Cleaned 3/4 of my room.
Changed new handphone.
Repaired my lappy.

These are just some of the things that happened in 2009.

Of cos the best one is what HE has done! Life changing experience. ♥

I'm waiting to see what 2010 has installed for mankind.

Life changing moments

Everything is more or less falling into place.

It has been a long while I last updated.

1. Went f**king hot Bali... didn't really enjoy it. Maybe if I were to be there with other frenz, it might be different.

2. Doing my best at the FD campaign currently. Whole campaign finishes in Jan.

3. Cleared 3/4 of my room.

4. Had a wonderful X'mas '09!!!

And if you haven't heard, yes, he has proposed to me on X'mas eve! I was totally caught off guard. Heidi knew, but she didn't tell me. (That brat!)

We were at Samy's Curry having dinner, after eating, I was playing with Jun Bao's HTC. And then I realised that he was standing behind me the whole time. I wanted to turn around and then *poof* he popped the question.

I think Heidi has some pic of the whole thing. JB got her a Samsung dual screen camera for X'mas. (So sweet~!)

I knew this day would come, but I didn't expect it to be that day!

Check out my Lumix camera. Went for dinner at Jurong Point last evening. Had a great time cos it was mummy's last working day!

My Mama has officially retired as of yesterday. It was her last working day of work and she has decided to bring us out for makan. And today? We're going shoe shopping at Ubi later. Gonna get myself a pair of Saucony shoe.

The photo size is humongous cos of the quality of the picture. I've learned yesterday about the ISO, shutter speed and also some other pointers crucial to get a nice and clear picture.

We went for dinner at a Korean restaurant. Food was quite ok. Service totally sucked. 2 of the staff pissed me off, both Heidi and Mummy were a little taken aback at my reaction to the staff. Muahaha. They caught me on the wrong day. I think they would resign if I dined there everyday, that's all I can say! Well, I don't think I was mean. I was just being a 'customer'. I don't take 'don't know' as an excuse. If you don't know, go find out! Don't tell me you 'don't know'!

Lumix vs Canon

I'm currently giving my Canon a break and back to using my Lumix. I can't remember when I bought it but I think it's high time that I used it again.

I was looking at Xiaxue's blog just yesterday, and I'm amazed at the pictures she took. Damn f-ing clear man! And it's taken by a Lumix. The last thing I need to do is to ask her about her camera settings. Then again, the best person to ask would be Mike Kor! Miss him so much.

As the saying goes, "Like father like daughter", both Claudine and Mike Kor have quite a no. of differences though. Esp the photography part. Well, not many families have similarities in terms of hobbies.

For me? I totally love photography. I have like a total of 4 cameras? I don't think that's too many right?

Sorry for digressing...

Woke up around 9 plus this morning. Didn't know what to do. And come to think of it, I really missed the life in KT. Totally missing it. Waking up damn early, breathing in 'rather' fresh cooling air, looking forward to a scrumptious breakfast, chit chatting with all the cousins... and the list goes on and on... Since the time I came back, which was last Thu, I haven't uploaded any pics. So here goes... tgt with some illustrations too.

I had this when I was much younger in M'cca, and it was by the road side too! From the house, I had to walk down a whole stretch of road just to get to the stall. But the rewards were great!

They had their own brand of Ramli burger there too. They call it 'Isa burger'. I think the guy was called Isa. Haha! But the burger totally rocks man~! Damn juicy and there's lots of sauce. Super nice. (Liang could see that I was snapping him... but I was actually snapping the stall...)

This was next morning's lunch. Hakka noodles. Another super nice thing to try when visiting KT.

Together with the noodles, comes soup and some other ingredients.

Their place is actually 2 houses broken into 1... so that means they have 2 car porches... 2 so-called balcony area, 2 gardens (1 on each side), 2 living rooms, 6+1 bedrooms, 4 toilets, 1 kitchen, and the other kitchen converted to a gym... ☺

We celebrated Jie Joanna's birthday there. All were caught by surprise cos I think Jie Jess told ask Koh whether can buy cake to celebrate anot. Haha! I was totally caught off guard. Wanted to eat a slice of fruit but then had to put it back down to go take camera... ☺

When we're so bored, we slack in the office... and I introduced this website to them! To relieve our memories... can you see what game Kor Ming is playing??

Hehehe... this really bring back good memories...

We were suppose to come back on 24th Nov (Tue), but since we had nothing to do in SG, and that we can spend more time with the family, we came back on the 26th (Thu). So on Tue, we send Jie Jess to City Square for her to go back to SG cos she had an interview the next day.

After that, we had lunch at Old Town. Nice chill out place.

NOW... to digress a little from the food...

One evening... we were in the office, doing up the FB thingy for Liang and we came across this mosquito that was flying around the room. I was quite pissed off by it cos it keeps on flying around my our faces... so you can imagine how we keep on swatting the mosquito...

And the worst thing is that you can't smack it... it's really smart... or we're really stupid... but it was late at night, so our senses were not so alert anymore. Sleepy what... so anyway, it started biting us, esp our legs... I got so pissed seriously...

Then the next evening... when it flying around the walls... I picked up an envelope, swing it around, and I finally got it... it hit the wall, got stunned, then it was lying on the ground... before it could fly again, I smacked it with the side of my hand and taa dah...!!!

I GOT IT!!!

It may seem gross but you have got no idea how irritating this mosquito was!!!

That morning, Koh steamed corn for us to eat for breakfast too... so that night, Jie Jo was hungry, so she decided to have to corn as snack...

While I was talking to Chia Liang, I realised that she was still peeling the corn... and peeling... and peeling... I was really wondering what's taking her so long to eat that damn corn... and you know what?!

She was peeling the corn like this...

FUNNY RIGHT?! I was laughing till I forgot to breathe... No wonder she took so long la! I grabbed it, tore the sides down, and broke it off...

and then, "NAH!! Your corn la... you can START eating it now...!!" ☺

To sum it all up, the whole trip was really enjoyable, late nights watching DVDs (they really have a lot of DVDs man! Albums and albums of it... cos it's so cheap there!), late nights in the office playing games, computer, joking and laughing out loud, sitting outside by the porch to chit chat and laugh out loud also, played card games and using Monopoly money as bet...

SO FUN!!!

Whee~! Counting down to 2 days

Today is finally Wed... Another 2 more days to Holiday No. 1.

Anyway, quick update:
- Went for 2 driving lessons in a day. Woot! The one in the evening is because of that small fart la. Keep pestering me to go for it. Thankfully there's a slot though. Drove this morning with Mr Seetoh from BBDC. He's a really good instructor! Fantastic I would say. Another one in my group is Mr Eng (the Team Leader). He's also another fantastic one! They're patient, really chats a lot (so that it doesn't make you feel weird in the car), they REALLY teach.

- Met that little girl in BBDC. It was raining and then drizzling all the way throughout the whole time. When we reached, we had dinner. And as we were talking, she was telling me that she knows what's wrong with her lappy. It had some problem with the memory card reader and she said that it was because of her friend. He inserted a PSP memory card into her card reader, but without an adapter! So the whole card was stuck inside the lappy. Deep inside the lappy.

Here comes the best part, her dear sister came home, and with 3 tools, took it out already! Hahaha... all in less than 10mins! And this small fart and her group of friends had this problem since last semester. And becos of this problem, it crashed her laptop like a gazillion times! Woohoo... should have just come to me when she had the problem right?! Silly toad.

- Well, as stated in the heading, count down to my KT trip. Can't wait. It'll just be me, Jie Joanna and Jie Jessica heading up this time. Ah Jon still schooling, and so is Heidi. So yay! Can't wait... will be there till Wed. So don't miss me! After that, will be the Bali trip, and then the M'cca trip. Woohoo... Holiday No. 1, 2 & 3.

This coming Fri I'll be having driving in the morning again. This time, I'm bringing my PDL. So Mr Seetoh, you won't get bored again la! Hehehe... this morning I went for his lesson and I forgot to bring the PDL. He was so bored cos we can only go around the circuit. But I did a lot in the circuit though. I've only just passed Stage 1, and he was already bringing me up ramps, S-course, curbs and parellel parking! Woohoo... One word can describe this morning's lesson... FUN!

Alrighty, I gotta go rest. Have been coughing like hell since this morning, just drank Woods medicine. Feeling a bit better now though. Gonna sleep le.

So Jie Jo has confirmed that we'll be heading to KT end of this month, am totally excited about it cos we've not been back there for quite some time already. I'm gonna buy a new Timbuk2 bag just for this trip. It was damn nice. While in town yday, I walked pass this shop that sold that bag. Simply loved it, it was like love at first sight. Price also damn 'sui'... Hahaha! $179?

Then there was another bag, Manhattan Portage 'Vintage Messenger'!

LOVE IT~!

Okok, I know I know... I've got many bags... But a lady can never have enough of of bags, shoes, jewellery, accessories etc.

On another side, I'm so sad that my flat companion fell sick. Had to bring it for servicing, pay $85.60 and then have to leave it there for almost a week or so. Darn. Well, hopefully all is well.

Currently blogging from his place.

Ate dinner here after finishing FD meeting. Meeting was great. Turn out wasn't that good though. But gambatte! We shall work hard for the next upcoming meeting. Took a group photo too! It was an early celebration for Michelle's birthday today. Actual birthday on Tue.

Happy birthday girl!!!

Had french beans, fried fish, dumplings, 'full of garlic' lala and some chicken soup for dinner. Nice nice~! Yday, dar bought 2 packs of rice cake from JP when we were shopping for some groceries. Hmm... talking abt JP, we had a wonderful brunch, proudly sponsored by dar for the family! Pioneer Wharf. Ate Dim Sum. It was quite average though. I think Red Star still nicer. =)

Ehem... so as I was saying, he bought 2 packs of rice cake to cook today. His mummy cooked it though. Spicy~! That's the only 1 word I can say, but flavourful. =)

Today is just another average Sunday. Sleepy...

Home and sick

Yes, I'm sick again... still sick...

I wanna go out, but then again no strength to. I can only stay out for a while without feeling uncomfortable. I miss spending time with dar. The last time I saw him was on Sun, when Mummy cooked the 'loh ak' (He likes the duck, that's why Mummy decided to cook it too, for us!)

So that was the last time I saw him. Next, should be today, or tomorrow. ~~Tomorrow we're going to Tung Lok for brunch... Yumms... Dim Sum buffet...~~
(Update: No Tung Lok tomorrow, we're heading to Jurong Point's Pioneer Wharf instead... Dim Sum too... Buffet bo hua cos my family don't eat so much, don't waste money tio bo?)

Well, I had a great time last night. Had the most memorable time with the bunch of them.

Today is another good day. Woke up happy.

Made myself toasted bread... yay! I can eat normal stuff already. Hard, crispy, crunchy... all these can go into my mouth! Muahahaha... So anyway, happy happy happy... Going to Vivo later and so happens, Mummy just called to say that we're going there for dinner too! Marche...

Both dar and I are going to catch Body World @ Science Centre tomorrow. Whee~! He said that he hasn't been there before, but I remembered going for it before. I think it was with someone who was pregnant too. Cos I told that person not to go in to a certain exhibit which showcases babies who 'couldn't make it'. Really sad. But this exhibit is no doubt a super educational one. So go catch it.

So what's been happening?

1. Went back to SDC to collect my long awaited testimonial from boss
2. Manage to meet up with all my teammates, missed them loads!
3. Went to the freakin' dentist this morning, after many(x10) years...
4. Have been trying to take buses/trains to travel (it's really great I tell ya!)
5. Would I say I'm job seeking at the moment?? Hmm... Don't think so... Hahaha...
6. Went to BPP for chillaxing time, and then meeting up with family for dinner
7. Hanging out with friends for the past few days

and the lists goes on and on...

Dentist trip was horrible though. Let's see... here are the details:

Woke up in the morning at around 9:15am.

Appt was 10am.

Doctor was Dr Edwin Ng. Yeap, he's a guy!!! I wanted a female dentist, thinking that they can be much more gentler, but well, she's working only on Fri-Sun and I wanted to get it over and done with ASAP!

Bathed and changed and I was still early to visit the dentist

Whole ordeal only lasted 30mins exactly. He was really remarkable. It was almost painless. Only at certain areas that it was sensitive, but other than that, it was alright.

And here comes the best part, I might most probably put braces. Yup, you heard me. Braces for Ms Cheryl Tan!

I've got some gaps in btwn my teeth and it doesn't look nice at all. But since my teeth ain't all that bad, I might not require to put it on for too long. *crosses fingers* So I'm gonna arrange for a 2nd opinion soon. Kinda exciting really. Anyone has any dentist to recommend?

Well anyway, I've been spending quality time with myself really. I am indeed a very happy girl for the past 3 weeks exactly since the 'issue'.

Dar has really been supportive. I've been a well taken care of girl since 7th October. Yay me! He wants to bring me to the 'Hello Kitty Lab' too. Called me yesterday to ask if I wanna go! Hahaha. So sweet of him. He sent me a very nice sms too. A super heart warming one! =)

Sentosa Outting - 22 Oct

Hahaha...

This time without the ASA, I went to Sentosa with Jie Jessica for a treat. Jie was really feeling like getting outta the house so it happened that I was online with her. She asked what was I doing, as usual, 'resting, and then she asked if wanted to meet up.

Me: "Yay!"

Me: "Go where?"

Jie: "Just meet at Clementi at 1:30pm, I'll tell you later"

*Oooo, suspense... I like...*

Eventually, met with a little hiccup, Jie2 thought that she told me to meet at 12:30pm, but I remembered that she typed 1:30pm, so in the end she waited for an hr for me! But while doing so, she had an Express Mani. So time wasn't wasted after all.

MASSAGE!!!

We went for lunch first, cos we're all hungry, and then by the time we're done with lunch, it was 15 mins past our massage appt.

Best part about the whole thing?

It was Dean's 2nd last day. Luckily manage to meet up with him there! Lunch at the Silver Shell Cafe was 50% off... using staff discount! Jie was so shocked cos she hasn't experienced 50% off before... Hehehe... This is the perks of having friends in the hotel line! Was sharing with her that I've got many friends all over Singapore's hotels, if want, we can go to these places for lunch.

She was sharing with me that Fullerton's Chicken Rice was damn nice, and the best news was that Dean's next working place was at Fullerton! Woohoo~!

Anyway, massage was quite great. Jie2 paid for everything that happened that day!

Went JB with my family and him.

It was fun. We left the house at around 10:15am. Reached Woodlands Causeway at around 10:50am.

Breakfast time!

After breakfast, we went to the Jusco at Tebrau City.

Our tea break... Mummy and Daddy wanted to go to Old Town for coffee. So we followed.

After lots of walking around and some shopping, Daddy had to go for refilling of petrol. Before the refilling part was like the coolest. We went to see a showroom of a landed property just nearby. This was something that both Dad and Mum had been eye-ing for quite a while. But still, I recommended 'Leisure Farm'. Much safer. There's Gurkhas there to guard your house!

A beautiful Sunday

I've never had such a wonderful Sunday in a long time.

Morning woke up damn early cos I needed to pee, and then went to slack in Heidi's room for a while. A while later, Mummy woke up to start cooking the Pongteh (it's a Peranakan dish. Love it!). So I helped with the whole thing cos it's quite a tedious dish to cook. The whole dish took almost 2hrs to cook? Or something like that. Cos I remembered helping from morning, and when I really had a break, it was already 12:30pm! I was almost late for the meeting. Had to be there earlier cos there was a rehearsal to do.

So anyways, I'm home now. Damn tired. Damn hot weather too. Had an early dinner with Ji yi, Kevin, aunty Jenny Santoso and Mummy. Went to Sheng Shiong @ Jln Bahar. The dessert was fantastic. Tapioca with Gula Melaka and santan! Rawks man~!

I really had a good break this period. Haven't had time to spend with my family, attending meetings, going out with relatives... all this had been missed while I was working. But now? Hehe... Enjoying~! That's all I can say and think of.

Whee... for how long you might ask... well, for as long as I want!

Lunch at Ajisen + Mao Hui's bday BBQ

Had a rather long day today. Just came back and showered not too long ago.

Met up with dar at Lot 1 for lunch and some walking around.

Lunch was at Ajisen. Food was rather salty surprisingly.

So after lunch, bought him a long deserved wallet cos his wallet that we bought at KL already totally beyond recognition! Haha. Got him a Picardi wallet. (Damage: $74).

Then we had to go around finding the 2 boy's bday presents. Hui Yin's bday was a belated one, just a couple of days back, whereas for Mao Hui? His bday is today! Got both of them clothes. 1 t-shirt from Levis, and 1 shirt from Camel Active.

The celebration for his bday was at his aunt's place in CCK, a landed property, so that we can BBQ, the adults can play their fav MJ, and the kids can sit down, talk cock and sing song!

Alrightey then, must try to get some sleep. Am damn tired after today. Whole house dusty like anything! Cleaned as much as 70% of the house. Tmr is Day 2.

Mummy's coming home soon!

Today is Saturday. Tomorrow's Sunday. And on Monday morning, around 2 plus, MUMMY'S COMING HOME!!!

We've done a lot when Mummy's not home.

They polished the rims too! Looks damn new eh?

Credit goes to dar and his team of colleagues. They did a fantastic job man! Damn nice!

And then when Mummy's gone, we either buy back dinner, or if not we cooked...

Woohoo... both dar and I went to Sheng Shiong for some grocery shopping. Spent $58 on groceries. Cooked up a feast.

Along the way, both Heidi and I cleaned the house, cleaned Waffles cage, Heidi vacuumed, folded clothes, washed dishes, washed clothes... Before you know it, MUMMY'S HOME!!!

Yay!!! Another 1-2 more days to good home cooked food... I've been longing for it... Now that I'm slacking at home, all the more I can go marketing with Mummy to buy ingredients. Hahaha!

Shall rest now. Went out one whole day. Cooked thereafter... Tired~

Kukup'09

I went to Kukup for the first, and most probably the LAST time, on 26-27th Sep 09.

Went with dar and his family. HUGE family... still? There was some who didn't join us on the trip. So you can imagine how huge his family is la.

Day 1:
We met up at Lakeside MRT at 7am. I reached at 6:45am. And then we took the train to Yew Tee MRT to meet up with the rest for breakfast before boarding the bus. We started moving off only at 8:30am.

After customs, it was about 1h 30mins ride to Kukup. So we became bored.

I've never taken a 44-seater bus up to M'sia before. I think it's too cramp. The last 2 times I went up to M'sia was via a max 22-seater. TransStar! Rocks! We had individual seats.

So as mentioned, we became bored, so we got the Tour Guide to play BINGO with us. The uncle in front of me won. And then dar's daddy won too! We split the prize money to $80 $40. First prize: $80 and Second prize: $40.

And the smell!!! To a certain extend it was unbearable. The whole place is a fishing village, so of cos the whole place will smell fishy! May Jie would definitely not be able to tahan the place! Really... Smells like belachan wherever you walk... And a pinch of Chinchalok...!

We took this boat out to sea to some of the Kelongs nearby and we saw some fishes that the Kelongs reared.

And now comes the best part. Dar went to the toilet halfway while eating. And when he came back, he shared with everyone that the toilet has a nice toilet bowl, with the hole leading all the way DOWN... into the SEA! And and and... we're eating the seafood! Woohoo...

Enough about it... it's making me sick...

And this is the best part... while we were settling down, the xiao di came over to start selling his 'goods'. In total, I think we spent SGD$500 on fireworks combined?!

Just next to us is a place that's dealing with fishes too... and at night, you can smell the strong smell of 'hei bi' = small shrimps... woohoo! The smell was 'wonderful'... Belachan!

We walked around cos the adults were playing Mahjong, so as kids, we starting roaming the whole place. This was our last shop we visited. We bought coconuts for the adults. And coconut pudding for us kids. DAMN NICE!

You know why the coconut pudding is damn nice??

Muahaha... I saw this at the side of the counter... and there's more where that came from!

Anyway, on a serious note, the pathway leading to our chalet area is about the width of a bus. You walk one side, and the other side is mainly for bikes/bicycles. It's really damn narrow. Some of the houses are on stilts too!

The houses are on stilts and what's below them is like mud cum dirt cum rubbish cum sea water cum TOILET 'stuff' and everything you can think of under the sun! So you can imagine what happens when you drop inside! Mudskippers will greet you!

Can't deny that the sunset is really damn nice... soothes your nerves when you look into the horizon!

Oh, and it was 2 of dar's auntie's birthday!

This is like the best chicken wing I've ever tasted! SERIOUSLY DAMN NICE! You can tell from how fattening this looks!

And after dinner comes the best part, cos it's already night time!

After playing with fireworks, we had this jelly. This is quite famous in Kukup. It's coconut flavoured jelly with different fillings. Damn nice. RM6.50.

We played cards in the room before sleeping.

Day 2:

This is the whole family who was there. Fun bunch of people. Laughed a lot during these 2 days.

Went to this place for lunch before heading back to SG.

And after lunch, SHOPPING!!!

We dropped by Jusco before heading back to SG and we spotted Stonegrill there! Wootz. Damn bloody cheap man!

So the day has finally come, I'm now much more free-er than usual.

I gotta stress this so much..

I MISS MUMMY.. I cried like I've never cried before in a long long time! Something happened last night, and I totally broke down. All the tear that I held back all came down like a never ending waterfall...

I saw the pics in Facebook on their holiday, and I gotta say, everyone's happy... having fun... which is a good thing.

Anyway, I'm officially free. Many people know, many people flared with anger. Thanks people! I love you guys so much. Will miss every moment we've spent tgt at various places in the centre, from PEG, to iWerks, to Shooting Gallery, to Ticketing, to Retail, to Ops Office, to Inner/Ops Store, and the best place would be the Armory + Paintball Arena!

And there's so much more photos...

Well, in life, there must be endings, so I guess this is it... We'll still meet up though. Whenever possible. Life still goes on.

Have been coughing a lot since last night. Couldn't eat anything. Didn't feel like doing anything. And I think I spoilt dar's day last night. Sorry! But I didn't feel well. Felt like vomitting. Thankfully I didn't.

OH YA... I still owe the photos eh? Shall upload it soon k. Anyway, as seen in the prev entry, the car looks damn nice now. Totally as good as new. Thanks dar for everything!

Anyway, I miss Mummy loads. All her words of encouragement have really been missed. Need someone to hug too, esp when it comes from Mummy. *sobs* She'll be back soon. Hope she's having fun. Heidi's starting school tmr. I'm off tmr. And I really need the rest. Need to get well soon cos this cough + sore throat is really draining my energy from me! I'll also be left out from the outting tmr... SAD!
