Weekend updates

And just like that, the weekend passed. Happily blogging on Friday, then Sat came and gone, Sun zipped by even faster and then it's Monday again. So what happened during the weekend?

Let's talk about Saturday first:
Woke up pretty late on Saturday cos I came home quite late on Friday night. Spent the evening at Joy's and playing with Jethro till my arms nearly came off. Hahaha. He's in the biting mood now but let's leave that to another session. So I cabbed home from their place in Bishan and I fell asleep in the cab. The moment I opened my eyes, the cab was at the traffic light at the market area! HENG AH! Else I won't know where else the cab will take me to. So I calmly told the cab driver to alight me at the bus stop at the market and I walked home from there. Sui Yi, Peony and Ryan were at my place when I came home. We had a chit chat and game session till about 1 plus or so. And that explains the 'waking up late' portion. Chek Yong came by early in the morning, say around 8 plus and Mama had to entertain him. Of cos both Heidi and I were sleeping soundly la. Hehehe.
After we all woke up, had breakfast, I started my Tomb Raider game. Stanley loaned me that game quite some time back and I haven't had a chance to play it since. But it ain't too nice to hold on to his game for too long thus I decided to complete it asap. And IT'S DAMN FUN LA!! Very addictive. Once you start, cos it's different adventures, you can't stop cos 1 story leads to another. And then in the evening, Heidi and I attended my study meeting and that ends my Saturday.

Sunday:
Woke up pretty early cos I had to go to the loo and then I couldn't sleep again. So I continued my game all the way till Mama says STOP, cos she cooked breakfast! Hehehe. We had Korean pancakes for brekkie. Super yums. And after I finished washing all the dishes, I continued my game again while Mum had to prepare for her study meeting. Hers is on Sunday afternoons while mine is on Saturday evenings. So after we sent her to the door, I continued my game again all the way till it's time for bath cos we had to head to the airport to send Chia Liang off. That boy is off to Melbourne for his studies. Took a very nice group selfie picture and sent it to him for keepsake. It was uploaded on Facebook too so if you have my Facebook account you can view it there. We had a good dinner at Paradise Inn at T1, then he's off to catch up with some of his friends and before you know it, it was time to send him off to the Departure Gates. As usual, it was an emotional moment for him and his Mum. I didn't expect Koh to tear cos this being her 3rd boy going overseas, I thought she would have been 'immuned'. Well, a mother's love is unconditional. Having your son go to another country even for a while may be a painful thing for a parent, esp for a mother. They shared words quietly and then the boy started tearing too. Awww... No worries boy. Kor Ming is around to help your Mama now. Have fun in Melbourne and take good care of yourself. Update your Facebook every now and then so that we all know you're ok. So En Tio, Koh and Kor Ming had to drive back to KT after sending Liang off, Stanley and Jie Jess offered to send them back to Hougang to pick up their car. Jon came with us and I sent him back home. By the time we reached home, it was already almost 10 plus or so. I STILL continued my game a little till about 11 plus when it's my official lights out on a work day.

Woke up this morning feeling pretty tired but after a nice bath, I'm awake and ready to go! Left home at about 7:30am and I must say, the roads were quite clear and the carpark at my place was quite full. Hahaha. Because of the World Cup, many applied leave today I suppose, or perhaps they went into office later. But the roads were very nice to drive on today. Clear traffic. If only everyday could be like this. But this also marks the end of the World Cup 2014! Good game Germany!! Congrats on the 1-0!! World Cup 2018 will be held in Russia. I wonder how cold it'll be then...

So anyway, I've got nothing on today but have planning meeting tomorrow. Shall see how much of the game I can complete this evening!

Until then, cheers!
