Okkkkkk...

I know it's been quite some time but I've really been neglecting this avenue of ranting, praising, sharing happiness etc. I used to love to blog a lot cos I think of it as a form of releasing stress and just being able to speak my mind without literally having people hear my thoughts. And it is nice to keep a form of diary every now and then, to keep track of what has been happening and how my life changes as  time goes by. So here goes...

From the last time I blogged, all the way till now, a lot has happened. Actually, a hell lot has happened. But all I can say is that my life has been great! I'm happier. Period. So what kinda updates do I have? Let's start with my 2 new nephews who joined the family in Sep 2013 and Apr 2014 respectively. My dear Jethro was born on 8 September 2013. To date, for the past 10 months, he has been a joy to have around during any occasion. It can be family gatherings, meetings, going out with his mum etc. It's been really fun! He smiles a lot, chuckles too adorably, is so chubby and fun to carry. He's really growing up well with the love and care around him. From his grandparents, to his own parents, to all his other relatives from either sides of the family. Everyone just adores him! And then there's Declan, born on 16 Apr 2014. I haven't had a chance to carry and cuddle him cos he is down under. Hehehe. When I went to Perth for the 1st time, May was still preggers with him, still far from due date la. Mama and Heidi had the chance to take care and play with him while they visited. Mama was there for a period of 2 months, and Heidi went there for about 1 week. I really hope to pop by soon. Even if it's for a short trip! I shall plan some impulsive one! *hint hint* Meanwhile in the midst of my plans, more updates. So apart from my 2 nephews, all else has been really smooth. My gakkai activities, family, friends, work... All fine... Some might be more curious about the love life and all, so here's some updates for THAT. I'm still single (yes yes, I know it's been a while) and very happy! I've really been able to do almost ANYTHING and go ANYWHERE at ANYTIME I want to. To me, bottomline, I'm happy. That's all that matters to me. As far as I'm concerned, my family isn't saying anything, so I think all other comments should just be best kept to his or herself. It isn't easy to look for someone who's really THE one. Friends and family always ask,"When you wanna get married?", "Now how old already, don't wait too long.". Like macham I don't know like that... but good guys don't grow on trees ok! So I always 'shut them up' by saying "When a guy on a white horse comes galloping around Jurong, THAT will be the guy!" Then they'll stare at me blankly saying no one rides a horse on Singapore roads... HAHAHA! PRECISELY!

So anyway, really, it's all good. I have loads to do to keep my life occupied cos when you're single and really don't have much on hand, you really cramp in lots of things to do. First on the list to fill your life with? HOLIDAYS!!!

I did a Perth trip in Dec 2013, and just recently, a Maldives trip in June (23-25). I went with Jie Jessica, Jie Joanna and Jonathan! My beloved cousins whom I first grew up with cos their Grandma took care of me. Everyone treated me as their own and for that, I am (still is) very very grateful for that. So we had an awesome time at Velassaru Maldives, South of Male. The first time I went to Maldives was on the North side of Male. A good resort too. But if to compare between the 2, the recent one was the best! Waters were better, resort was nicer, but best of all, the company! We took Tigerair on Monday morning. Jie Jo and Jon came to pick me up from home, then we got off at Clementi where Stanley drove us to the airport. Flight time was only 4hr10mins from T2. The flight was quite alright too. We took a speedboat to the resort and upon arrival, we settled down quickly cos a staff named Malik, who prepared everything for us, including a buggy, arranged everything for us and brought us to our unit and gave us a briefing etc. Jiejie got us 2 rooms, one Deluxe and 1 Over-water villa.
