15 July 2014
Monday blues?? Nah... ^_^

And so it's another day at work. I've made it a point to wanna blog on a regular basis, so as to keep a form of diary so that I know what's been happening with my life. More of like a self-reflection kinda thing? Hahaha. So anyway, Heidi and I had a good time re-reading our past entries and it was hilarious! Heidi kept saying that it was all cringe-worthy! All her past entries about her life, her ex boyfriends, school etc. And when she did that, I did the same too! I re-read all my past entries and seriously, WHAT was I thinking?! My Eng at that time was atrocious! And to think I considered my Eng standard to be pretty good back then... Pfft... well, as we age, we mature huh. Things SHOULD improve with age. My entries were bf related, school, more work stuff though. Esp those times when I was in SDC. Had a lot of opportunities to really pen down all my thoughts. It was really nice reading through most of them. I laughed, teared, but most importantly, enjoyed every single posts. And again, that reaffirms my decision to wanna start blogging again.

So anyway, today's Tue. Mum cooked a whopping good meal last evening. Chili chicken, stir fried Xiao Bai Cai and chicken peanut soup! Simple but delicious. Then as she had her planning meeting with the Dist, Heidi and I were in the room, with the air con on. She was studying while evil me, was playing Deadpool on XBox. Haha. Along the way she had to coach me cos I didn't know the controls. And she kept mentioning that I sucked at the game! Eh, come on! It was my official first time playing the game on my own so cut me some slack ok. At least I caught up with the game quite fast. Let's see how you fair in Sleeping Dogs, Watch Dogs or even Tomb Raider! I'll be saying the same too. But on a side note, I must say that I do better with more realistic games, such as these human related games. Games like Lego, Deadpool, or for that matter any cartoon related games, ehhhh... not too bad but definitely not as good as how I play those 3 initial mentioned games.

After turning on the air con, we went downstairs to buy some drinks up cos we didn't have any at home. And also, before I came home after work, I actually stopped by Yunnan to buy Potong Ice-cream. Oh I tell you, their Pulut Hitam ice-cream is AWESOME!! I love it to the max... and cos Mama likes her Red Bean, I bought it too. So in total, 5 Pulut Hitam and 5 Red Bean Potong. And to top it off, I saw Durian wafer ice-cream so I grabbed it too. Ice-cream damage was $11.80, but super worth it la! Why? Cos it makes someone happy. HAHAHA. To me, happiness is paramount ok. It's all that matters. After coming up and shoving all the ice-cream in the freezer, I realised 2 things.

1) There's no more space in the freezer
2) I FORGOT TO BUY SOMETHING FOR HEIDI!!!

Oh well, I let her choose her drinks when I got her to accompany me... Hahaha. It was a really funny moment of self-realisation. I forgot about my sister!!! So after coming up with drinks and all, I gamed and Heidi studied all the way till the meeting ended, which was about 9:30pm. After which we adjourned back into our sleeping chambers (aka our mother's room), and lazed around. And Mama had to have a Korean show on! It's called 'The Woman's Room'. I just love shows like that. Where you did something to someone, and then that person gets stronger and takes revenge etc. And then there're scenes when the cast spouted out something, and someone who should not hear, heard what he/she said... and then that cast's face would be uber priceless? Hahaha... love those type of shows. So today, it'll be a continuation. If you're interested, it's on ONE (Korean channel), 10:10pm. =)

And the best was actually after the Korean show, I managed to catch the replay of the Germany vs Argentina Finals on okto. And seriously, because we already know who's the winner, it made everything even funnier! Heidi and I started making up nonsense lip sync between coach and players and we were giggling at how the Argentinian faces looked when Germany scored a goal! Priceless. But on another hand, they really cried their hearts out too. Poor fans, poor players. Supporters and players really gave it their all. So, good job Argentina! Until 2018... And CONGRATS GERMANY!!! Good job Mario Gotze... that goal was a superb one... After we watched the goal, we turned the TV off shortly after to sleep. By then it was already past 1am. And then it's the next day. It's gonna be relatively busy week this week. For starters, I need to visit the doc soon cos of the blisters on my hands and feet. It's quite worrying but I'm quite sure it's nothing. However, you can never be too sure. I've decided to monitor and see how it goes. Mama asked this morning if I had ulcers in my mouth (probably thinking of HFMD) and I told her I DID. But that was 3 days ago. The ulcer is gone now. Oh well, I'm monitoring to make sure the blisters or red itchy spots don't grow at more areas cos other than that, I'm really feeling fine. Nonetheless, I shall take precautions if I need to.

For now, cheers!
