Depressing Friday. #RIP MH17
Feeling sad.
I'm sure by now, everyone should know about the news of MH17.
I thought that Mama was joking when she told me about it yesterday while watching the news. Back of my mind, I was thinking that it was definitely a hoax until I turned my head and see the news headlines.

It is indeed sad when up till now, Peace is still unattainable. Different people have different views of things, no mutual respect, lack the understanding of each others' culture etc. Is it really that difficult to wanna embrace each others' differences and live in harmony? I read a quote from Nelson Mandela, "People must learn to hate, and if they can learn to hate, they can be taught to love, for love comes more naturally to the human heart than its opposite." And this is so true! If they can learn to hate, they can be taught to love cos it's much easier!
So why? Why make people suffer just to show that you have the upper hand? Upper hand in what?! Does that earn people's respect? Does that show that you are high and mighty? And all of that at the expense of other lives? Lives of children? Innocent children you know... What did they ever do to you?
Questions, questions that we cannot answer... only these people can... but I'm very sure they'll choose not to answer anything. They choose to be hidden. To be cowards. And as a Buddhist, all I can say about this is that I believe in the law of cause and effect. You will get your just deserves. Look at what happened to those who work against good. Haiz, enough said. So depressing for a Friday.
Looking at those pictures and videos of family and friends at the airport, it's really very very sad. 1st, a plane goes missing, then now a plane gets shot down. 239 + 298 = 537 innocent lives! And then with the Gaza situation... how much more lives do we wanna lose? Okok, enough enough... I'm tearing as I'm typing this.
So anyway, got Mama to come pick me up today so that we can head for dinner and head home to prepare the house for Daimokukai for her Dist. Shall join them during prayers later so that I can lift my spirits because am feeling quite down for a Friday. Pfft.
