Lemme tell ya why I said this...
First of all, I woke up this morning feeling totally fine. Totally charged up with energy to go to work. And then upon reaching office, tapped in, changed, had briefing, I know I was going to be in Ticketing. And the better news was to know that I was with Sharon. She's good. So far Ticketing can stand alone. That's more important.
So all the way from 11am till lunchtime, which was at 1pm, I was alone at the Ticketing Counter. But along the way, I had Liz coming along asking how's everything and also updating me on any changes on the group tours. I was tasked to do a tour for a group of intellectually disabled people from a Church somewhere. There were a total of 95 ppl, 10 kids and 85 adults. Of which only a handful, which is maybe 10 or so are 'normal' volunteers of the Church.
So they came over to SDC for lunch ard 12 plus and then whole group arrival time was actually ard 1 plus. So by 2.25pm, all of them were ready to depart on the whole expedition. So there were 3 SAFTI guides. Myself, Sharon and Henry. We did the tour for them as simply as we could so that they would easily understand us. Just like doing a tour for Pri sch children. That was how their mentality was.
So during the tour on the bus, my most important thing to note was their safety. Nothing else is more important than their safety. Throughout the whole tour, I didn't even lift my eyes off them! Literally. I just pointed to them where the direction was, and just watch them turn their heads. After finishing the bus tour, we headed straight for the iWerks Theatre for their 3.15pm Everest show. They totally enjoyed it very much and I was also tasked to sit in throughout the whole show just to make sure that everything was fine. Suddenly, towards the end of the show already, there was one guest, a lady amongst the intellectually disabled people, had spasm!
"Shit!!"
What the hell am I suppose to do?! So happened I just stood up to look around, making sure that everything was fine, and then I saw some of the people calling me for help. I ran up to the lady and realised it was something like fits!
"Double shit!!"
I immediately com for Liz and called for Emergency! She rushed in to see the situation and then I told her that we needed men's help. So Andrew to the rescue!!!
We carried her down to the First Aid Room and then allowed her to rest while calling for the Ambulance. They arrived very quickly and then sent her to the hospital.
Basically, after doing the tours for them, we were suppose to arrange for 2 person to do the tour. At first was supposed to be 2 persons doing the PEG tour, in the end?! I did the whole tour all by myself... but it was a totally good workout. hehehe.
The whole thing lasted all the way till 5.25pm. And then after that?! Did u think it was just over?!
No!!!
My Ticketing counter had problems with the closing... with all that, and after the problem was settled, it was already 7 plus. Hahaha! I missed the front part of Ironman! Damn it~!
Ok la... i shall continue later.
to be cont...
