To all my dahlings out there!
GONG XI FA CAI... XIN NIAN KUAI LE...This yr is the year of the rat... a good year so far... just received my ang pow from company! Hehehe. Goodie! A good and nice start. Later on in the evening, will be going over to my Eldest Uncle's place for makan/dinner. Come to think of it, working on the 2nd day doesn't really feel that bad. We don't usually go out in the mornings or afternoons but only in the evenings, so I don't lose out on anything. But of cos if my family wanna go out for visiting to any other places, by all means man~! Go ahead...
So anyway, yesterday was the 1st day of New Year. Went to Lao Yi's place in the afternoon for lunch and then over to Lao Gu's place for dinner. But I didn't eat though, even though they have the food I like, which is the 'abacus seed' and the Tom Yum Soup. Darn... Couldn't stomach anything at that time la. So cannot blame! Hees...
It was a good start to a 'new year' yesterday. 'We' finally talked. Even though not much, but even a slightest gesture or a greeting also meant something. Nevertheless, things are improving. Though slow, but at least I hope it'll be steady.
Love U lots~ Anyway, by not eating at Lao Gu's place meant more space for the next house. Which is?? My 'own' 2nd house! Went over to visit Mummy and Jie Joanna. Papa and Ah Jon were not home cos they were at Little India shopping. Papa going to Indo soon for lessons. Sad~ But it's a career, a job and something that everyone would respect. *salutes* And guess what food they had?? Haha... Pong Teh and Kiam Chai Soup!! Whee~! Felt so lucky man. It was like a blessing that I didn't eat earlier and at least I get to eat all this good food that I've missed so much~! Esp since Mummy cooked it. The last time I clearly remember eating a scrumptious meal was when we were back in Clementi. Popo would cook, Mummy would cook too and then the whole family with our coloured plates would then grab the dishes and sit in front of the TV to eat! Hehehe... those were the days~!So anyway, I totally enjoyed the dinner last night. Brought back a lot of memories. Though my own Mummy can cook the dishes too, it didn't really quite feel the same. Taste was different. I think it was becos we ate it together and therefore the taste was much nicer! = )
Ok la... I shall post more later. Gotta do my SAFTI Bus Tour soon~!
