And so... today is another off day. Currently is an off-peak season at my workplace. Therefore, MONDAYS are my official off days!

Anyway, yesterday was fun... I had CIP (Community Involvement Programme). MJ was thinking how come we had Flag Day or something. But then I explained to him that we don't have Flag Days but we do something else. What is it?

Lemme tell you...

Well, my company arranges for GSAs, like myself, to bring new citizens of Singapore to our centre and 'educate' them on what they need to know or have to know abt Singapore. Namely our Defence Force, importance of Unity and so on. So what we have to do is to fetch them at their respective pick-up locations and then bring them over to the centre. So the CC/RC arranges such things with our Marketing Dept and then they requisite the no. of GSAs required.

And poof!!!

We're THERE! Of cos can claim taxi and breakfast money la. So anyway, this is not the first time i'm doing CIP. Have done it many times. First time was at Bt Batok. Then another at Marine Parade. And lastly which was yday, at Kreta Ayer CC. So I woke up @ 7.20am yday, took a bath and left by 8am. Haha! Was already late la cos I was suppose to reach there by 8.15am. So nvm, I boarded the cab and the sickening thing was that the uncle didn't know how to get to Kreta Ayer CC. So he just mentioned that it should be near Tanjong Pagar that side. Ya! But which area... near where... what landmark?

Damn...

He didn't know how to use his cab's GPRS system! Crap right?! How can u not know how to operate the thing?! *Muz feedback* So anyway, after a long while, I gave up and called the bus driver. He directed us and I finally manage to reach the place at 8.25am. Heng ah...

So upon reaching, had to bring all the peeps right? There're more old folks then younger folks. But I had a nice time learning from all their experiences. We had PRs in our bus as well. They were from China and even India. It was fun! We reached SDC at 9.25am. I was supposed to do their tour and before I could start, I saw Cheryl S's group coming in. And her's turned out to have only 14 ppl. And mostly were Malays. And since I was already doing a Bilingual Tour, we might as well combine right?! And so Uncle Stanley did. He told me that we would be combining both the groups together so that we could maximise staff strength. Cos later we had another City Harvest Group Tour to do.

So ok... no prob... i did it... and it was all worth it. I would say at least 1/2 to 3/4 of the ppl would remember your name! And at least they did bring some knowledge home with them.

I love my job. This is the fulfilling part! Passion is very important. Without passion, you won't enjoy.

So this is me in the Retail store, taking over Aishah for lunch.


Was quite bored la... so cannot blame me...

So sometimes when we've got nothing to do, this is what happens la. We would go around taking pictures, chit chatting, tell jokes, tell ghost stories... Hahaha!

Today's gonna be a rather quiet day. Going over to Sui Yi's place later to help her with her laptop. Newly bought 2 weeks ago. Haven't opened yet! Hmm... she scared spoil la! No worries... Help is on the way!

Won't be meeting Piggy today. He's working. Quite happy for him cos he's setting up his own company with the help of his Uncle. Good good. That's a good start. At least u know the contacts already. All you have to do is apply the services! Good for you! Yay!
