Hallmark channel rox! I just watched a movie titled 'More than meets the eye' on Hallmark channel. Only those with cable would have that la. = )
It's a very emotional yet wonderful show. I've learned a lot from that movie man. It's abt this lady who's actually a teacher in a blind school in Ioha, US. She's a mother of one and a wife to a nice man. As time goes by, she slowly lost her vision. She had a very weird kind of medical condition that no doctors even knew the problem. Later on, her husband started becoming rather temperamental. She actually thought that her husband has some other woman out there or something cos he throws tempers at her, refuses to talk much and so on. Resulting in her doubting her husband. All he keeps telling her is that he's having a very bad headache. And only after much persuasion that he decided to go to a doctor only to find out that he has a tumour in his brain and required immediate surgery. Because of this tumour, he lost his left eye.
And of cos, tumour led to him having cancer and spreading to the rest of his body and after some time, her beloved husband passed away, leaving her and his daughter. The wife carried on working in the blind school for a while before moving to another town to start afresh with her daughter. Her parents took care of her and their grandchild during that time. She has a good fren name Karen who occassionally comes over to ensure that everything goes well. And this good fren of hers brought her to an old schoolmate's birthday party. There, she met her other frenz. And of cos in every show, there would be this some guy who have liked her since school time. Hahaha. So eventually they got together and they got married. Because of her condition, she gave talks everywhere throughout the whole state and soon throughout the whole world. Now, Joan lives happily with her daughter and her husband.
Nice story right? I love it. Nearly cried, but teared only. Haha. If u guys have cable, watch Hallmark. It's so full of nice stories that really touches your heart. Well, it touched mine!
