Back from M'cca...

Back from M'cca...too short a trip...

Sianz...back from M'cca already. So soon right?! Shucks, it just seems like I arrived there only yesterday. Well, overall, the trip went fine. Both Grandparents were damn happy to see all of us back there. Both Tua Yi and Ji Yi were there too. As usual, when Popo saw us, she teared cos it was either she was so shocked to see all of us and it would be hell cleaning up the mess we created? OR it was gonna be a good time having all of us back in the same old house where we once gathered back when Ah Ma was around...so meaning it was tears of JOY!! Hehehe...I would prefer thinking it would be tears of joy. Cos even though if there were to be mess created, we would definitely clean up after ourselves.

Happy family...
From left to right: Kim Poh, Popo(which means Grandma), Ah Kong, Tua Yi, Ji Yi, Mummy, Heidi, Me and Gu Kong.

In my family tree back in M'sia, I have so many relatives until the extend of not knowing who's who!

Anyone knows what an Angsana Tree is?
Pterocarpus indicus is one of the best known trees in Southeast Asia. It is known as angsana or sena in Malaysia and Singapore, narra in the Philippines, sonokembang in Indonesia, and pradoo in Thailand. The tree may reach a height of 30 to 40 metres; girth size of about 5 to 6 metres. It has a wide-spreading dense crown. The bark is grayish-brown, scaly and containing a dark red gum. The tree is propagated either by seeds or stem cuttings. Leaves are elliptical and rounded at the base. Flowers are yellow-ochre and fragrant. Fruits are flattened pods, disc-like.

We're always talking about family trees and so on. Mine! Ha...even one Angsana Tree wouldn't be sufficient to draw out my family line man! I've got so many Kim Pohs, Gu Kongs, Pek Kongs and whatever Pohs and Kongs and cousins and aunties and uncles and loads more! The above picture is just one of the couple relatives that I frequently meet. Gu Kong is my Grandma's brother. I can still clearly remember my 3rd uncle's wedding some time a couple of years back, when we all went back to M'sia, and in that Chinese restaurant, 3/4 of the people there were my relatives, the other 1/4 were my uncle and future auntie's friends and relatives. There are some of my future auntie's relatives too. I tell u.....................................I walked the whole of the restaurant together with my Grandma, me needing to take care of her, and we walked everywhere to not only say hi and thank them for coming, but also to intro me, their 'chuchu'(which means Grandchild), from Singapore. And also another intro was Ah Tan's daughter, which is Papa's daughter la. Kinda felt very popular and very proud to be my Grandma's Eldest Grandchild. It was like the proudest moment in my entire life cos I could feel that my Grandma was very proud of me and my family. Capable Singaporeans back to M'sia to visit their Grandparents and/or their Mother-in-law(for my mum).

It was a very good feeling to experience. Cos like all Grandparents, they kinda like to 'show off' how capable their daughter-in-laws are, or how clever and capable their Grandchildren are. So it really felt good. I really love them so much! Without them, I wouldn't know where I'd be.

Nice payphone right? U know what? I've never used this payphone in my entire life before, cos.....it really feels damn gross having to think of lotsa flies flying around it, and also everyone from all walks of M'sia uses that phone!! Urgh...

Ok la...I think I shall end here and continue another time. Cos I've gotta play 'The Game of Life' with Heidi. We bought that game there together. RM129!!

to be cont....
