Safari Lanterns...

Safari Lanterns @ the Chinese Garden

They're damn nice...so beautiful. And u know what's the most remarkable thing? It is that we didn't have to pay the full price of $39 for 3 tickets! Lemme tell u why. Firstly, after parking the car, while walking towards the ticket booth, there was this stranger (nice chap!) who confronted us, and gave us a ticket. FOR FREE OK!! Mummy wanted to pay him, but he said that it was an extra one, so its ok. Muahaha. First benefit. Secondly, when buying another 2 more tics, the lady at the counter said that there's a man standing at the side selling tics at a discounted rate. Which is actually 30% lesser, so meaning the tics cost only $9/person. Cheap right? Actual price for one person on a weekend is $13, offpeak is $9. So we bought 2. In total, entrance only cost us $18. Muahaha. Second benefit. So 39-18=? hmm... $21 lor!! That's a lot. And to think that i was actually contemplating on whether to go, cos too ex ma!! Hahaha. Mummy was like, "See la, good fortune, after attending 4 Div, we get immediate benefits...Must always keep an open mind!" Heidi was also mentioning that luckily we didn't go yesterday. Its a blessing in disguise. I was out with Dar the whole night, and didn't wanna go for the lantern thingy, so in the end still had a minor quarrel with my family. But then, see la?! Alls well that ends well...

Mummy's right!!! No doubt abt that. We entered the place happily. So firstly, we were greeted by lanterns of animals with musical instruments...then by the Magical Fairies all lined along the sides of the bridge. Damn nice actually. Truthfully, i initially wasn't very enthusiastic abt the trip there, but after receiving immediate benefits, i totally changed my perception of the event. Along the way, we saw many nice lanterns.

*Argh, wanted to upload pics but then cannot, server too lagging le..Nvm, u guys can go check it out at my album @ http://sg.pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/cheryl1905/my_photos*

Well, overall, all i can say is that i had a lot of fun, unexpectedly... Hehehe. I was even dared by Heidi to sit a ride which spins round and round at a rather fast speed...So ok lor, scared u ar?! Sit la... It was like damn fun lor. Cos in total, the ride stopped 3 times. There were young kids, and they felt nauseous!! Muahaha. So the ride had to stop. So we sat it a couple of time more than other ppl. Muahaha. Its damn fun, keep getting flunk off the seat lor. Hehehe. Ok so after that, we went to walk ard, and even bought some jewellery. Hehehe. A nice bracelet for me, a pair of earrings for Mummy, and a pair of earrings for Heidi. Muahahaha. Then walked ard more to see other lanterns. Walk till tired man. Then we left the place at 10 plus i think. It was a damn fulfilling day lor...

Damn tired now...will update again tmr... *now talking to Dar*
