Hey, hope this kinda weather keeps up k. Today there's an NDP 'preview' @ Padang. I'm gonna be there. So it had better be this sunny. Good weather. Gonna do prayers later.
Well, its been a while since i last blogged, so here i am once again. Update time.
Green! Love it. Ok, so what has been going on? I've got the Starhub job, and so did Maybel. But somehow, both are reluctant to work. For me? I'm currently trying to go all out for activities, attending my leaders meeting and so on, and furthermore, most meetings are on Sundays. While working there, u are only entitled 1 weekend off for the whole month! A bit outrageous right! If its like that, then its gonna be a bit difficult for me. As for Maybel, she can only meet Francis on Sat and a bit on Sun. So during the whole week, that's the only 2 days. Oh yah, there's also Fri evening la. So as for her, a bit cannot tahan la. The pay is good! Definitely good. But so what?! If we cannot proceed with our own lives, then its gonna be just like working in Pan Pac all over again...Hmm...must have wisdom. Chant for a better job man!
And u know wat? I've been in contact with Nigel a lot. And every single day, we'll be chit chatting till like almost an hour. Sometimes he can call me 6 times in a day, just to talk. Hehehe. I do enjoy every single chat we have. Its fun. Sure laugh a lot. Like the time we watched 'Singapore's Brainiest Kid'. We were talking and watching at the same time. And we were commenting that the participants look just like our friends when they were younger! So damn funny. What can i say?! I feel we have quite a lot in common. Lotsa things we can talk abt. But one thing i cannot tahan abt him, is that he goes out till damn late and sleeps in the morning like ard 7am?! HARLOW, that's the time when ppl wake up lor. Silly toad~
He is also one hell of a damn sweet guy man~! Really nice guy lor. Will tell u more another time. So okok, here's the important part, he called me yesterday, as usual, and told me that there's a job offer for me. Saying that we're gonna be chefs of a Cafe. So he'll be settling hot food, and me cold food (desserts!!). Nigel --> Main Kitchen Chef, Cheryl --> Pastry Chef. Cool huh?? Love that idea. And of cos don't talk abt the pay la...Woah its damn high lor. Haha. All we have to do is to pull in our own team and come up with recipes. For me, i have to come up with 5. ARGH...So excited...
Just as long as the paper work is settled, we can start! Hopefully its gonna be confirmed. In the meantime, i'm gonna chant for this opportunity man. My dear boy Nigel has been having some probs too, so i've alwiz been chatting with him to cheer his little spirits up. He's envious of my family, saying that we're so loving and so on. I felt honoured, but at the same time a little sad. Cos by the way he put it, he can never have my kinda family. I told him that nothing is impossible! And to show that, that's gonna be one of my prayers for him! Kk la, i'm gonna shower soon. My aunties and cousins are coming soon. Gonna be a baby sitter today. Bringing one whole gang to Padang with me! There's a total of 7 kids and 2 adults with me. Heidi, Kevin, Jia Xuan, Zhong Bing, their maid. And then at City Hall, meeting up with them to bring them, Hazel, Iris, Angie. And then finally at Padang, gotta pick Peony up. *Phew* Its gonna be a damn tiring day today. But its for a good cause! Yippee!! So excited ok. Mummy's performing today. My MOTHER ok!!
