I just reached home not long ago. Miss baby so much. I ended work today at 7:25pm, but left the hotel at 7:40pm. Cos i had to go back to the Cake Counter to clear up things.
This morning when i woke up, i was so reluctant to go to work. So tired man. Everyday i have been working morning for the past months! No afternoon shift for me eh. From what my Chef told me yesterday, i was sure that i didn't have afternoon shift again. Darn! People might be wondering how come anyone would wanna work afternoon, and cannot have the chance to go out in the evenings? Well, in my dept, when u work afternoon shift, u come at 3pm and leave at 11pm. SHARP ok. Whereas when u work in the morning, u end work at roughly 4-6pm? Ard there. And sometimes even 7 or 7 plus. Depending (just like today!!!) So which do u think is better? Of cos afternooon shift la. 8 hrs on the dot, after that go home! Then next day can slp till late late, then wake up go work again.
But of cos la, since i'm in the morning shift for now, there's even more things to do! Like today, i went upstairs ard 4pm, after rushing things together with Shee Lee. Luckily Shee Lee was with me ok, if not i think i by now also cannot go home ar! So anyway, there was suppose to be a Dept Meeting, according to Chef, but then when we went up, no one said anything abt any meeting leh...Cheated! So nvm, i did replenishment, and brought the stuffs down. Just when i was abt to settle everything downstairs, a cake order came in. A lady ordered Choc Crunchy, and is collecting the cake at 8:30pm. So ok lor, i did it for her, but then thinking that Melvin's (my schoolmate cum working attachment colleague) cake wasn't done very nicely, i decided to make one new one for him, and give that lady Melvin's previous cake! Wahahaha~!
So evil ar...but Melvin loved the cake i did. So i was happy. But at that time i couldn't chat long with him, cos i had to rush up to check to see if they had gone back, or are still doing things. So when i went up, they were doing up a dummy Wedding cake. 5 tier. As usual, everyone had a layer to do. I got the smallest one! Cos the dough that i rolled out, cracked. So i only managed to do the small one! But ok wat...its was nice, then we had to trim off the top, align the pillars, so by the time we finished the cake, and cleaned up, it was already 7 plus le...So damn tired man!
Baby was telling me this morning that now then he knows how i feel every morning, sleeping late and waking up early. Hehehe...Well baby, that's working life in the hotel line! =P U gotta get used to it... I think that's all for now, cos my eyes are closing. But i'm gonna stay up till Baby finish work. So i can talk to him. Miss him so much man.
