Well, first of all, i have to say that i'm extremely happy abt today, cos i knocked off the earliest time from work. From the beginning of work attachment all the way till now, i've never ended work that early b4! Damn happy man. Both my Chef weren't ard today, cos Christopher, who was supposed to be off yesterday, came back to work cos there was an important function. So that means he changed his off day to today. Whereas for my Chef, he's off every Sun.
So...today, when we all came to work, Peace, Celia, Daryl and i all said that today is going to be a different day from the rest of the working days. WE'RE GOIN OFF EARLY!!! So we rushed our work like hell today. After going into the fridge to get all the buffet stuff, we went up to the kitchen and start work. Peace went up to take the usual bread basket down, Daryl started churning the Red bean Ice-cream mixture, and i started lining the buffet items. We all worked with no sound coming outta our mouths, except for the sound from the CD player. While doing so, soon we finished most of our jobs, and Peace started light production straight away. There were only a few things to do one the board.
1) Eclair - 120 pax, but we must do almost 2times the recipe. So total 180? Ard there. 2) Egg tart filling - 120 pax 3) Do Custard
And then that's the end of the day. Hehehe. Seems like Chef doesn't want us to do production on Sun. So that's all lor. BUT!!! There comes the prob, this batch of Whip cream is defective, cos we can't whip up the cream. Whenever we whipped the cream, it does thicken, but doesn't have the volume! And that slowed down the pace of work. We couldn't do the Eclair. But then we 'chiam si tong', we still used the cream but just poured the chocolate in and let the mixture slightly set on its own. Then we can pipe the filling in. Eventually after doing all those, after i finished dipping the Eclair in chocolate, it was almost 3:30pm, still quite early la. After that we all said bye to the rest in the kitchen, and left!!! Vincent was waiting for me at the locker area already. He was going to his cousin's place at Boon Lay so he said that he'd wait for me and then we can take 502 back together. Whenever he goes there, that means its gonna be abt PS2. Always going there to exchange games and so on. Upon meeting him, we walked up the bridge towards Suntec and then went down again to the bus stop. Suntec was so damn crowded!!! Becos of the IT Fair. Soon, the bus came, and then we boarded the bus, and that silly toad has to choose a seat right in front of the TV. Saying that can watch TV ma!!! Ok lor, anyway i always sit there when going home, so i don't mind. But later he regretted, cos the sun kept on shining on his face! =P Silly Boy~ There came a stop where an old lady came up the bus, and he was a gentlemen to give up his seat to that old lady. So i moved in, and that old lady sat next to me, and the irony was that she thanked me instead of him! Hmm...weird...but nvm. Hehehe. Along the way, i was worried that he might fall asleep standing, so i kept looking at him, and ask him to talk to me! Scared later he fall asleep standing and then lose balance or something. He's tired, and so was i. We were saying that if either party weren't ard, we would be sleeping le! When we reached Jurong East area then there was a seat behind me, and he quickly sat down and sighed. When that old lady left the bus, then he came forward. Both of us were hungry so i accompany him and went to Jurong Point to makan. Ended up at Billy Bombers having 2 set meals. His Chicken, mine Steak. After being filled up, we had to leave to his cousin's place, and then i headed back home. Upon reaching home, mummy was home le. Keegan kor was suppose to come my place to take his track shoes, but then he was too lazy to come out of the house. So didn't come!! Cheat my feelings...
Baby just reached home after work. He's tired. Was a Trainee Service Captain today. Hmm, i felt that he didn't have the mood to talk today leh. Dunno how come. I found his talking manner a little funny today. Maybe i'm just thinking too much la. Or maybe he's just too tired. Well, meeting him tmr @ Dhoby Ghaut. Gonna meet his 'sister' for lunch. Kk, i'm gonna turn in for now. Getting sleepy. Hmm...dunno whether baby wanna talk on the phone anot. (^_^)?? Well, nvm. Let him rest.
