I'm not using Grey bcos of the day i've been thru. But its just another colour k.
Anyways, i really did enjoy my first day of work. Arrived at work on time thanks to my mummy and sister. They both send me to work early this morning. I woke up @ 5:30am and then took my bath and woke them up cos they wanted to send me. = ) So sweet rite?! Well, drove along the expressway with not much cars, and then arrive right on time at 6:45am at the Associates Doorway. Changed up for work, met Jennifer and Peace along the corridoor, then we headed for the Pastry Chiller to get all those stuff we need for the setting up of Summerhouse in the afternoon.
As soon as we arrived in the kitchen, we were greeted with other associates in our same department. There wasn't much time to waste so we all went straight to our tasks. I, on the other hand, is a first timer, so i need much guidances from all the colleagues there. I was assigned to decor the Cheese Cake and some other pastries. Without wasting much time, i went straight to work! In a blink of an eye, it was already gonna be lunch time! After setting up the buffet table @ Summerhouse, we all went for lunch cos after lunch, we have to prepare the desserts for a Wedding reception later that afternoon. There were 250pax. So we all hurriedly plated all the desserts with me arranging the snow powder covered Red Currants, Peace arranging the flamed Pears, Jennifer helping out Christopher(Ass. Pastry chef) with the decor of the round chocolate, Darryl flaming the pears, Ken putting the mousse and 'Auntie' arranging the plates. It was indeed so much fun cos everyone was rushing here and there. Esp with Darryl cos he took rather long with the Pears. *hehehe*
But soon, it was all over, and after the dessert went out, we took our stuff and went back to the Pastry Kitchen. By then, it was already 2:10pm. Going home time!!! Hehehe, but not yet, i was supposed to decor a complimentary Wedding Cake. So there i was, Jennifer help me coat, and i did the rest of the decor. And as soon as the cake is done, it was time to go home. It was by then, 3 plus. So tired u know................but then the encouragement was when Heidi told me that she was waiting for me at Suntec City, to go home together! **So sweet rite** Aww...well, i was tired, but i still tried bringing her ard Citylink to walk walk.
After that, Mummy said she wanted to go home, so i bought Heidi to the bus-stop and then we took 502 home. Along the way, we both fell asleep. Upon reaching home, we were greeted with my loving mummy at the living room! She cooked noodles for us for dinner, and my fav 'Leng Ngao' soup. At that moment, i felt that i was damn lucky to have loving, caring and alwiz-there-for-me kind of Family members! I am indeed grateful to have this family!
