Well, today is the first time i'm working afternoon shift. I met Shee Lee along the way into the staff entrance. Then i was asking her how is working afternoon shift like, then she was filling me in with the details like, mostly, replenishing the pastries, checking to see if there is enough 'ti kia' on the glass slabs...
Next time, when i got my pay, and when all my family members are free, i'll treat them ' makan' at Summerhouse, my work place. Though its ex, but i think its worth while for them to try it out there la. Always see other ppl bringing their families there, and seeing them enjoy themselves makes me wanna bring my own family, and letting them enjoy! {{Hint*hint* ok u ppl, esp my cousins, i'm sure u can see this! WILL BRING U ALL THERE TO MAKAN OK!}} Ehem...like i was saying.......................working there with Shee Lee is fun, she keeps emphasising on trying to get things done quick, so that we can leave the place on time. *hehehe* To the extend that somethings are done quite nap shot! Meaning, fast paced. Cos i wanted to wipte those trays and glass wares dry, but she kept saying,"No need la, they'll clean tmr morning!" So i bo pian just listen to her lor. She has been with Pan Pac for almost coming 5 yrs plus le. She's more of a sister than a Senior to me, she takes care of me there, making sure i understand how everything works. If i didn't understand anything, she would repeat again.
I am lucky to get nice colleagues to work with. Well, hopefully i get to know more ppl in the other kitchens, so that i can get more exposure as to how other chefs work la...or else i would just be cooped up in one kitchen and then rot there!! =P
Haiz, as to my life update, Heidi is doing well with her sickness, she's been taking medicine i hope. Cos she hates to take tablets/capsules! So it has been a little tough for my mum and i to force her to take! But oh well, its up to her to take good care of herself. [[Hopefully]]
