So sad...i received a call from my papa saying that my cousin Joanna is in ICU now at NUH. Seems like she has a viral infection in her lungs. And well, i called papa just now, and asked how's the condition like, he said the docs doesn't know, but it seems that she pierced her naval and there's infection there too. So PLEASE PEOPLE!!! Don't pierce places where there shouldn't have piercings! I was crying when i heard the news.
Well, moving on, i've just completed yet another paper, but this one seems better (*meaning there's more hope in passing!) Wahahaha...
Now, thinking abt my cousin Joanna, i feel kinda sad. I've been very close to their family ever since young. I stayed with them when both my parents were working. My 'nanny' who is also a grandma to me, is my paternal grandfather's sister. She was helping to take care of me when i was young. So can u imagine the bond i have with their family? Even till now, i do go over to stay when its during the holidays. They have alwiz treated me like their own. And i have alwiz treated them as my own too! It hurts to know that my loved one is in hospital now, and that everyone else is out there enjoying life...! Well, i'm gonna visit her later together with Heidi and my mummy. And i really hope that everything turns out well.
Papa sms me just now saying that Jie Joanna's condition is improving, but very slowly. I told him that as long as her condition is gradually improving, no matter how long it takes, it doesn't matter!!! I will definitely pray for her speedy recovery and will also pray that my family there will have a strong lifeforce to overcome this major obstacle.
